I visited this Coborn’s for the first time. Loved this store! Went today and love the layout of this store! Friendly employees, clean store, a Caribou Coffee shop, big Natural Foods dept, excellent produce! Usually shop at Coborn’s in Mora, MN.

This is a stop every time we head north… Why you ask? Coborn’s has a great meat department with awesome specials! The prawns are huge, fresh, and amazing on the grill… Plus at a great price! Last week the ribeye’s were $ 9.99 a pound and wonderful! The butcher’s are very helpful. The bakery is awesome and fresh! See ya next week!

Having some background in a few rural communities, I’ve been going to coborns for a while now. Good stuff there. Their meat and produce is so much more fresh than the main competition(Wal-Mart) and I’m happy they have survived the wal-mart take over. Can only hope the princeton location does the same. They may have a bit spendier prices than wally world, but hey for a better brand and quality food, its no skin off my bones. Ill take fresh over unnoticably rotten anyday. They also have people at the registers who are there specifically to help bring groceries out to the car, which definitely wins over the customer service aspect as well. This location also offer sushi(Nothing too spendy or fancy, similar to what you’d find at Lunds or Byerly’s.) So thats another huge cool plus. If you like fish and wasabi I suppose.(I know I do.) and to top it off, they are one of the only grocery chains to have a video/DVD/game rental division too that has survived the netflix take-over. I guess all in all they just win, If you’re willing to pay a few extra bucks to buy a better quality item or food, come to coborns instead of the over-rated wally world here in Elk River. You’ll be much more satisfied, all around.
