Kobawoo Market

Coming here directly from Farmers’ Best Supermarket on Adams is probably not fair to Farmers’. But, we needed a few things in the way of kitchenware that Kobawoo had in large amounts. It was impossible not to notice how clean and organized this place was compared to where we had just been. Better lighting. Broader aisles. Smaller space, yet nicely laid out.
Strong display of serving vessels and cooking utensils for both the home and professional kitchen. Only thing it lacked was plastic chopsticks for restaurant use, so bamboo would not have to be wasted on a single use.
Overall, a good place for Asian cooking needs, and one to which I would gladly return.

I have been coming to this market since I was in college. Interesting selection of items and great housewares for the person who loves tea/​rice/​Asian inspired dishes. I do not live that close anymore but if I find myself in the neighborhood… I always stop in to look around.
Prices are reasonable, items are unique!
