Dr. Yates is excellent! Both him and his wife are very nice, and answered all my questions. I went to a different office before coming here and I feel much better getting my treatments at A Change of Art. I’m hoping I only have a few treatments left, but so far it’s looking good. The pain is not at all excruciating because they blow cold air to the area. Would definitely recommend!

—- UPDATE —-(November 2015) I have had my third session and it is coming along much better than I thought it would be at this point. Although I get a little nervous during the treatments, the process goes so fast. I can honestly say that I am always looking forward to the next session(perhaps that may also have something to do with being ready for the tattoo to be gone. Lol). Either way, the staff here is always friendly and I find the process to be smooth. Looking forward to the next session.

I’ve had 4 treatments so far and only have good things to say about A Change of Art. Each treatment has been quick and pretty painless. They blow cold air onto the areas being treated. I’d say it’s only a 3 – 4 on the pain scale. The staff is very professional and friendly. They’ve been able to keep my removal schedule on track even with my crazy work schedule. If your considering getting a tattoo removed just do it. After just 3 treatments I had people noting how much my tattoo was fading. After just the 1st treatment all the light shading was totally gone.

Beware if you are using a Groupon for a Sensi or Ultra chemical peel. If she asks you if you want a «booster» during the peel, just say«no». I said«yes» and she did not inform me at that time that the booster is not included in the Groupon that I had presented upon check-in. She did not say that the«booster» cost extra. Upon checkout, I was charged an additional $ 75 for the«booster». I use Groupons to try out services at businesses that I have never patronized before at a lower price and if I like the service, I will return and be a loyal customer. However, I do not appreciate when a business operates in a deceptive manner towards a person who is using a Groupon and I will not go back.

Change of Art is great. Their staff is extremely friendly and answered all my questions. Dr Yates is very professional, caring, and makes me feel at ease. As much as I don’t look forward to the pain, they are great and I always feel confident leaving knowing my tattoo will be gone soon!

Heard about this place from a friend and quickly made an appointment. Excellent area, extremely clean and well organized, and a very knowledgeable, friendly staff. The doctor talks you through the process making it much more comfortable and answers any/all questions thoroughly and honestly. I highly recommend this establishment!

i had my first consultation about a month ago & today was my 2nd treatment. initially, i was really nervous about this process. i’m getting laser tattoo removal on my lower back area. i’ve had this tattoo for over 10 years. not only was the tattoo poorly done, but the tattoo artist used way too much ink; to the point where my tattoo is slightly raised. its a pretty big sized tattoo and i have lived to regret this for quite some time. when i first walked in, i was relieved that this place was clean, friendly, and personable. Christopher and Gwen made me feel so comfortable about this entire process. at the consultation, they helped me become more knowledgeable about my tattoo, skin condition, and how the laser operates. even in the first and second treatments, Christopher has made me feel at ease when he explains thoroughly the steps and inquires my comfort level. after my first session, the raised ink has completely become a smooth surface. after today’s treatment, i was able to see the break down of the ink within my tattoo. the ink is becoming lighter and this session was so much easier as Christopher reassured me it would be. and guess what??! its super fast!!! a tattoo job that took nearly 2 ½hrs and only less than 8mins to laser. most of you will ask, the pain? when the laser is on, there is a soothing cold air blowing onto the surface of your skin. this process makes it more calming to bear. Christopher always takes plenty of breaks in between sections. you can do it, if i can! the healing process was super easy. no sunlight exposure and you can apply aquaphor. i was back to my normal self even when i left. i highly recommend this place. they use the most up to date equipment. In addition to Christopher’s certification, he also mentioned about traveling over the world to do extensive training and seminars. this is very reassuring to know! i’m so happy and relieved to finally get this tattoo removed!
