As far as libraries go, it is pretty much on Par. Free wifi, new updated area with tables and vending machines. Decent children’s area with a couple of new play items. Clean bathrooms. The employees are generally friendly and helpful. If you have kids you expect the Children’s section won’t be exactly«quiet», but my main annoyance is an actual worker who never, ever, ever stops talking. I have no idea what he does, but he is ALWAYS in the kids section chatting with the women at the desks about a variety of odd banter subjects. Sometimes I think he just likes to hear his own voice. Anyway, we are here at this library a LOT. That being said, I understand that things like«missing» books which I have returned are a certain statistical occurance. One in every 200 returned maybe they happen to put back on the shelf and not actually scan back in? Well it happens frequently enough that I have considered not using this library, however, Newark charges $ 40 a year for non-De residents. So, I deal with the book disappearances and usually go find them myself, right on the shelf. We continue to use the library despite the occasional annoyances.
