Dishonest Merchant — Beware!
I ordered ½ cord of seasoned firewood from Thomas for $ 185 delivered and they even stacked it which was nice. Until I went to have a fire that night. I used a fire starterstikk and after a couple of minutes the two logs started hissing and bubbling from the ends with moisture and would not catch. The starterstikk ran out and so did the fire. I’ve tried using 10+ logs and they all do the same. I tried to get in contact with Thomas but he would not answer his cell and the lady working the office said he would call when he returns home. It’s been 2 weeks now and roughly 7 phones calls and I still have not gotten a phone call back. The office wont even take my calls anymore. I managed to speak with him for 5 seconds to which he told me that there is no way the wood is wet (even after I emailed the pictures I had taken) and he would call me back. Still nothing…
This was my last resort, hopefully no one else ends up with wood they can’t even use this season.

Paid over $ 400 for supposedly 1.5 cord of firewood. Stacked and measured and turns out it is only around 0.7 cords. Contacted multiple times — no reply

Finally a place that sells true, dry, seasoned firewood! I don’t mind paying a little extra to make me happy. I can’t tell you how many countless times we’ve paid for ½ a cord of wood in which people said it was dry and seasoned. Paid $ 135 for ½ a cord and an extra $ 25 for them to stack the wood. They normally don’t charge for stacking wood, however, it was more than 40′ from their card. The wood burns nice and that «burning wood» smell isn’t resonating throughout my house. Would recommend them to a friend.
