What a unique and wonderful place. I stayed here this past weekend. The food and staff were great. The barn was a cool place to hang out with friends after a long day of riding with a delicious micro brew. I was surprised how cool it was here camping in the middle of July. Gotta love the plethora of trees for that.

This place is great, very convenient if you want to ride or hike and relax, the amenities are super clean and the atmosphere is awesome, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area, they’re even willing to drive you up to the top of the mountain and help you save some legs for your ride down. I highly recommend this place, their beer, wine and amazing food, the food is a little pricy but perfect to fuel up after a day of riding the best MTB trails in GA. I’m definitely going back and spending the night.

It’s hard for me to put into words how i feel about this place, but I’m going to try. This place is magical! The staff is super friendly with Kate, Diane, Andrew and the newest edition Alex, who make you feel at home like you’re long lost family. I came here last year for a mountain bike day ride with my regular mountain biking buddies and had a amazing time. This year we came back for another epic day ride taking advantage once again of the shuttle offer. For a small fee, which varies depending on where they shuttle you, they’ll drive your car with as many people and bikes you can carry to the top of any number of trails. They take your car back to Mulberry Gap where it awaits your return. This allows you to enjoy some incredible down hill sections when your legs are still fresh. The newest addition, which is coming soon, is their own trail around their property with an audacious skills section that will make for great fun. On this trip, myself and a buddy decided to stay for dinner. I’m glad we did cause after 20+ miles of unrivaled mountain bike trails we were famished. Ginni made an AMAZING meal from scratch! It was a spectacular home cooked meal consisting of Ham, Lamb with an awesome Au jus, Sweet potato casserole, asparagus w/hollandaise, a great salad w/8 different dressings to choose from, bread rolls & butter, sweet tea and to top it off, an incredible carrot cake w/cream cheese frosting! It really hit the spot, especially for a measly $ 18. It’s a great value. Some other great features about this place are the rediculously hot showers which renews your vigor and removes your hard earned layer of dirt. The beer selection is another aspect of this place that I underestimated. They had a fantastic selection and the pricing was very reasonable. «The Barn» is the common house where meals are served and gatherings happen. A new foosball table lead to a healthy battle. Another suprising and epically fun game is «Clown Bicycle Jumbo Jenga». They have 6 clown bicycles that you ride around while taking your turn to remove Jumbo Jenga blocks made from 2×4’s. Alex schooled us on the finer points of the game and really got other guests involved with participating instead of just watching. Great personality in Alex. I love this place and will be returning hopefully sooner than later. Next time I’m staying the night, bringing my wife and my four legged furry kids and we’re going to camp out. They allow dogs which is always a sign of a good place!(As long as they’re well behaved, get along with the 6 dogs that live on the property and won’t chase the cat) With the friendly people, amazing food, great beer selection, gorgeous scenery, rediculously fun atmosphere and world class mountain biking this place is a little slice of heaven. Thanks for yet ANOTHER memorable trip to Mulberry Gap and the Pinhoti trail system. Y’all have made something really special here and you continue to improve on it. CHEERS to y’all and your apparent hard work!

Thought the service and fun experience would be worth the price. Cabin was gross. Food was great, but service other areas was greatly lacking. You can see the potential of this place, but it just doesn’t come close to other mountain bike spots. Please be careful of your charges and settle it BEFORE you get there. Mulberry Gap is an amazing place, never have I stayed anywhere that comes close to Mulberry Gap. Mulberry Gap is a mountain bike get away. Mulberry Gap is nestled in a mountain valley. The property itself offers camping and bunk houses. The people of Mulberry Gap are the friendliest, kindest and caring group of folks you could come across. They make you feel at home. From the hospitality to home cooked meals everything about Mulberry Gap is simply genuine. The accommodations: you choose from either a bunk house or camping. I choose camping in our small teardrop trailer. The campsite was completely wooded, I felt like I was in the middle of a forest, absolutely beautiful. Right next to our campsite was a small creek, at night the sound of nature and the creek was all that could be heard for miles. The campsites and bunk houses are located near the bottom of the property, a short walk up hill you will find showers, hot tubs and the barn for meals. There are two sets of bath houses. The smaller house is located in the middle of your uphill walk to the barn for meals and the second larger house is located near the bunk houses. The smaller house has one shower, the larger house has three showers and the building itself is made of all wood and is more aesthetically appealing than the smaller bath house. How it all works: Mulberry Gap is known as a mountain bike get away. This means you bring your mountain bike and they do the rest. They have shuttle service that takes you to many trail heads(bear creek, pinhoti), after the drop off you ride back into Mulberry Gap. Mulberry Gap even covers meals. I only do breakfast and dinner but they will cover lunch upon request. All the food they prepare is delicious and one hundred percent home cooked. I stayed six nights and never had the same thing twice. They prepared a different main course every night, from pasta, pork, chicken beef and a ton of fresh veggies and huge salads. The food was delicious, healthy and perfectly cooked every night. Breakfast was just as delicious with fresh eggs, French toast, sausage, pancakes, waffles, fruit and bacon, different every morning. It takes me fourteen hours to get to Mulberry Gap, this is my third visit and I can’t wait for my forth. The peaceful camping, wonderful meals and great people make this a destination I will come back to for many years!

Gosh, I don’t know where to start. Mulberry Gap is a lil piece of heaven on earth if you enjoy playing outside like we do. We planned a weekend with some friends back in the fall, loaded up our mountain bikes and headed west to ride. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground and it just added to our excitement for riding in the Pinhoti’s. Got ourselves together by warming by the burn barrel, then having a snack in rec room before heading out to ride. Its hard to refer to the people there as the«staff». You show up and they treat you like family. The other«guests» staying there will become your friends before you leave too. Plenty of good, wholesome food is prepared, and they use organic and local whenever possible. Just when we thought we were full, out come homemade hot chocolate chip cookies! Cabins are super clean, as are the bathhouses. If you haven’t been there yet, you may think this review is overblown. I assure you, its not!
