Jerome is one of my favorite massage therapists in the world. I’ve had massages in California, Japan, the midwest, Scotland, Mexico, and elsewhere in a variety of techniques ranging from my personal favorite, shiatsu, to mediocre swedish types. I feel I have a pretty good grasp of what a good massage is: it leaves you relaxed yet invigorated; knots you had resolved to accept as a permanent part of your life melt away. Jerome achieves this with skillful mastery of neuromuscular technique and expert intuition for trigger points: the western analogy of acupuncture meridians. I’ve been told there is an 80−90% common overlap between the two, and from experience, I can believe it. With him, you feel the presence of someone who has successfully combined and synthesized the best of all worlds into an unsurpassed, personal style. On top of all this, his rates are extremely reasonable considering his extensive experience. At the time of this writing, 1 hour costs $ 70. If you are looking for an upscale spa experience, where the massages are often mediocre and overpriced, look elsewhere. But if you want to experience a fine example of what massage can be and do, Jerome is the guy for you. Oh and he was an in-house therapist for both the Milwaukee Bucks and the Milwaukee Brewers for a number of years. If that’s not a vote of confidence, nothing is.
