Possibly one of the most difficult companies to get a quote from. I have a new construction home with no walls and he refused to go out and quote without me being there. No Sense! The emails back and forth were lectures and rants about how builders don’t do anything right and Wisconsin has crappy laws that don’t protect us. All I was trying to do is get a quote for an install! They were also trying to force me to get an exterior system when my house is still under construction. They explained how the fans they have are loud, produce condensation, and can’t go in the attic, well you look at there website and they show attic installs. Made no sense to me or any other Radon installer that’s been doing installs for far longer than these guys. I would advise to stay way.

After learning about Radon on a recent news story, I decided to test my home and found that the levels were higher than what I felt comfortable living with. The news story had interviewed RMS so I figured if the news used them, they must be legit and good. I did however follow up and check the BBB and found they had a A+ rating.
Called them and the owner Paul was extremely helpful and very informative. He answered all my questions and provided me with websites for me to learn further. We set up a time for them to come give us a free estimate.
A few days later Paul came out for my estimate. He spent a while at our home with us going over everything they would do and how they would do it and proceeded to answer more of my questions (because at this point I was pretty freaked out about this whole thing). Paul was extremely patient and I at no time felt that he was rushing anything along. Our quote was written up and we set up the appt for the following week.
Day of install — right on time. Paul and his son Chase came to install my mitigation system and seal all the cracks in my basement floor. They were quiet and professional and cleaned up after themselves and left no mess what so ever for me to clean or trash to dispose of. The quote and the time frame they told me it would take was dead on. I was very pleased with the whole process. If you are looking for a Radon Mitigation specialist, I recommend Paul from RMS. Friendly, professional, fair and very educated in his field. Beware of other companies and do your homework. RMS has a A+ with the Better Business Bureau and an A rating on Angie’s List.
