Paul’s Barber Shop

Love this shop and Paul is a great barber and a great guy. I moved to southern Indiana and «Floyds» barber shop just ain’t gettin it. I know Paul has had a health problem and has not been at the shop. I’m hoping someone reads this and let’s me know when he returns to work. Miss ya Paul !!!

Solid old school barber shop. I have never had too much of a wait, pricing is fair (on the cheaper side, really), and they do provide a good cut. This is now «the barber I go to» in the west suburbs.
If you are looking for a barber, give this place a shot.

Had my first hair cut done by Paul since the barber I have been with for last 16 yrs is very sick and hospitalized. Paul is amazingly good, like hair magician. I had something like crew cut, but little shorter and Paul did it perfectly. I didn’t say much and just sit there let Paul do his job. He is a very nice guy and old fashioned, you won’t be disappointed.

Paul’s Barber Shop is the only place in the Chicagoland area that has touched my hair since 1993. During that time, I think the price for a haircut has only gone up $ 5 (currently $ 15 for an adult cut). Paul is old school Italian, the way a «classic barber» should be. In its heyday, the shop had three barbers to suit your needs; now Paul is a one-​man show. No flash here, just efficiency. We’ve been together through thick and thinning (See what I did there?)
There is a tv here, but the focal point is good conversation. Trust me, get Paul fired up on something, and you’ll get plenty of it.
I’m disappointed to find out that I’ll have to go elsewhere once I’m ready to try my first barbershop shave (Paul stopped doing shaves a few years ago), but he doesn’t offer service to just guys. Ladies can come in and have a shampoo and a cut as well. However, in the 18 years I’ve been coming to Paul, I’ve never once seen a woman getting her hair cut here.
Paul’s is class, top notch. A «cut» above the rest. Ok, I’m done now.
