Usual Chinese 3 choices with rice and soup. Not so clean and I believe they received a C for inspection grade. They have breakfast dim sum, the food sometimes look like its been sitting there for hours and the workers does not handle food the right sanitary way.

Not the best tasting chinese food but you get what you pay for. The good thing about this place is that they have the standard chinese food and also the roast duck and chickens which i love. Also if you go early in the morning they have some dim sum selections :)

Wide range of usual toppings Pork, Chicken, Squid, Tofu, Beef & Vegetables. Depending on da day, Stone Crab Legs & Whole Fish toppings are available. There is a FOODPROTECTERSHEILD, against all the spitting ordering patrons huge PLUS! Included is a free soup * The Egg Drop Soup it’s da truth! These damn servers think they slick if they give you to much of the good stuff. They will act as if the topping got stuck on da spoon & pour it back in the Pan. It’s time to set these Asian’s straight * I said WTF loudly her eyes pop like a cartoon & gave me extra of everything* The food is ok nothing out this world, but God damn for $ 5.95 or so, how can U go wrong + a Soup. Huge seating area Pekin Duck & other hanging birds available … Dim sum to go available in the morning, free parking lot!

My go-to place for take-out dim sum appetizers! For dim sum, I would recommend the Green Chives Dumplings with Shrimp, Shumai, and Turnip Cake. Homemade soy milk is really good here, too! Other breakfast items like rice noodles and flat noodles are alright. At the buffet bar, I like the fried tofu best. The barbecue meats are great take-out additions for dinner at home or just get it over rice to eat there. This place is not really the most glamorous or most organized place. I would do take-out instead of sitting in.

The dim sum and roast meats are awesome here. Been going here for years. I have yet to be disappointed.

I went here because I was craving dum sum and I am boycotting Rainbow bakery due to it’s rude service. The service here was better. The food was pretty cheap and it’s a hit or miss on the items. There’s also free parking in the lot! steamed shrimp dumplings– It had a very grainy taste, so I opened the dumplings and sure enough there was some black stuff in it, probably dirt, so I threw it out. tofu skins wrapped in bambo shoot and some meat–(sorry I don’t know the correct dim sum names) — Overall the dish was pretty standard. sticky rice with minced pork– Even though we ate it the next day, the sticky rice was perfectly cooked. They were not cheap with the minced pork filling and it also had a nice gravy with it. sticky rice with white beans and pork– The sticky rice was also perfectly cooked and flavorful. It also had the right about of pork and bean filling. I’m not sure if I would eat the dim sum or the lunch/dinner dishes, but I will come back for the sticky rice wraps and to try the different buns.

Dimsum was good. They are very quick and want you to know what you want. You need to flag the staff down like every once in awhile to prevent them from skipping you and helping another customer out first. Stand your position and firmly tell them what you want!

This place can be very nice if they put more efforts in to it. Its so hot inside while waiting for food to be served. I love the taste of the food but please put some more efforts on atmosphere and costumer satisfaction.

So far this is 1 of the best Chinese Cheap Restaurant I’ve been there must be at least 20 menus to choice from(as Filipinos will call this place Turo Turo point point of what you want to eat) for only $ 5.25 you point to the server the 3 menus you want to eat it comes with white steam rice and soup(fish or sweet & sour) the server gives a good amount of food so you can eat half and take home the rest for later. I like to order what is known as 3 Stars: roast pig, soy sauce chicken and roast duck be entertain of the TV playing the different China locations on how they prepare and cook their ancient cooking. The dim sum and bubble tea is very good too I’ve been eating at this place for 3 years now at least once a wk. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone.

At best, this place is almost the equivalence of Lunch Box Buffet in Chinatown, except there is slightly more variety. This place is owned by Hong Kongers, which is always a bonus for me. Though I’ve never tried their lunch box meals, the only thing I really recommend getting here is the steamed rice noodles because it seems like this is the only place in the area that sells them to-go and they’re just as good as dim sum places. Their milk teas are also not that bad – like I said, HONGKONGERS; definitely not Hong Kong-style though. I’ve had their century egg congee once and it’s probably the worst I’ve had. The barely visible eggs were chopped the little pieces, like the size of a bead and it was watery. It’s hard to find reasonably-priced food these days but if you’re looking for some in Elmhurst, this is a good option but don’t expect great quality. The staff here is always nice and friendly, which just makes the overall experience better.

I wish I could eat the food here! It looks sooo good and its really cheap! My boyfriend loves it. Unfortunately, the ‘vegetarian’ items are contaminated by tong crossover and this isn’t the cleanest kitchen. I do LOVE the bubble tea here. Recently as the place has changed its name to «Chinese Food» lol they have a $ 1 special! They actually use real tea and not water and powder like the cheaper places. All the bubble tea flavors have been delicious!

This place is great because you have 4 – 5 mini-restaurants all rolled up into one. Dim sum, lunch boxes, congee, bakery, drinks, BBQ, rice and noodles etc. Lunch boxes are a great deal and you’ll have at least 15 different selections to choose from so you’re bound to find something that will suite your tastes. Dim sum section is practically the same offerings as any dim sum restaurant. As with any Chinese place with lines, there is no respect for lines. You just have to belly up and make eye contact with any of the servers.

This unassuming little spot is home of the best shumai I’ve had — outside of Flushing. This place has an assortment of dishes that’s offered for 4.95 for a choice of 3. Needless to say, it is incredibly cheap. It’s a go to spot of many Chinese local too. Keep your head down and focus on your own food, you may not want to look up. Some of the other diners have interesting eating habits here. Ignore the slurping, it’s normal and completely accepted in some cultures. Use the bathroom elsewhere. If you follow these tips you should be able to leave this place completely satisfied.

I think the name of this place may have changed. The awning looked different from the storefront photograph. Anyways, I stopped by to get a few dishes for dinner. The food was pretty tasty and inexpensive. I would definitely come back if I’m in the neighborhood!

Don’t come here to expect anything gourmet!!! For lunch throughout the afternoon there is typical, as Chinese people call it, «lunch box» fare where you get to choose 3 entrees with your white rice and there is a good variety to choose from. Some entrée items will cost $ 1 extra but they will warn you, so listen carefully. A soup comes with your lunch box meal too. The soup just mostly tastes like water. No real flavor. But for $ 4.95, I don’t expect much and I always come out feeling full. I like the fish fillet with tofu, General Tso chicken and pork meatball. I ask them to take it from the top, no sauce to avoid the pools of oil. If you keep your expectations low then you’ll be happy. They also serve dim sum and Chinese barbecued products like roasted duck, roast pork, roast pig, soy sauce chicken, etc. They also sell a variety of stir fried noodles, large or small boxes. FYI, no gratuity needed here because there is no table service. Plenty of seats to sit at just walk your food over to a free seat and table.

Rice & Tea… I’ve lost that lovin’ feelin :( Had a heaping sampling today of both dim sum and a la carte(3 for $ 5) items. and I have to say that I’m superbly disappointed. The pork in the shu mai was… disturbingly fragrant. The portions in the a la carte items were small and meh. What a fall from grace. I’m ashamed to be the duke. I think it’s time I move on to bigger and better… luckily, it’s only two blocks away. TTFN

Good location, convenient parking lot but not very good food. It’s a chinese take out spot where you choose 3 different dishes with your rice. They have a decent variety but I feel that their dishes are too oily and salty. My mouth gets really dry after eating their food. I could only assume they add a large sum of msg into their food. They also have san bao fan, soy sauce chicken, duck, and pork. The duck here is horrendous. It’s extremely salty and when you order their san bao fan, they slice you the crappiest pieces of duck. They give the whack parts that are just skin and bone. Their san bao fan is about 75% white rice, 15% vegetables, and 10% chicken, pork, and duck. Verdict — Go somewhere else. I gave this place several chances and the stupid guy keeps giving me the worse pieces of duck. They’re incredibly stingy with the meat portions here.
