I’m not sure why the address is wrong on this one, but the restaurant is located just South of Roosevelt Ave. — get off at the 82nd St. stop on the 7 train and walk a block East then turn right. Anyway — Love this place! Real Mexican food. Enchiladas with the salsa verde is my preferred meal, but I’ve had many other meals(including the great tacos!!) and they were all good.

I have been coming here for years, and the only reason this place doesn’t get 5 stars is because of the décor. Other than that, it is one of the most reliable botanas in town. I can’t understand why Alias would have trouble finding good tacos in JH, they abound. This place is a neighborhood favorite. You can walk in here 24⁄7 and get a solid meal.

There are so many taco places in this neighborhood but this place is new and very inviting. I may also mention it is usually packed! Amazing and delicious with quality ingredients and generous accoutrements. I actually messaged the reviewer that wrote the bad review, as I am certain they must be mistaken about the place which they reviewed.

I like the tostadas(queso oaxaca — $ 2.25) and tacos($ 2) here. My boyfriend usually orders a torta(albanil or bistek for $ 5). I noticed the last couple times that we’ve dined at the restaurant there was an overpowering smell of Fabuloso(or something like that purple cleaner). It’s a bit too strong for my senses but at least they’re cleaning the place! They are open late, serve beer, and they deliver.

This is an excellent place to grab tacos — open 24⁄7 and each of the family taking orders speaks english and will gladly take your order. My personal favorites are the chicken tacos — the meat is prepared as you order instead of beforehand. They’ve been consistently moist and delicious every single time I’ve ordered(at least 20), and for $ 2/each you can’t go wrong. I’ve tried two other taqueria’s in the area; neither of them came even close to replicating the quality I tasted here.

Ugghhh why is it so hard to find decent tacos in NY? I don’t understand! While running errands in Jackson Heights, I came upon this shady little spot(read: kind of dirty) where they only spoke spanish and the schnazzy-looking jukebox was crying out balladas romanticas and I thought Perfect! I ordered a taco pastor and a taco al carbon, to go por favor. I made sure to get the green salsa and the red salsa and off I was with my warm, brown-paper package. Excited I ran up the train stairs and couldn’t wait to tear into my tacos. People, I sat at the train station at 82nd St. with my tacos eagerly peeling back the aluminum foil and paper that was now steamed onto the tortilla… First Bite… WHATTHEEFF??? If I weren’t me, I would have thrown that shiite away!
