i would give 5 stars but i lucked out cumin at 10 when its open up but dey came in around 10:15 wrong thin is as i grab my card to pay dey asked if i have cash instead shrugs and dey keep forcin if ima do my eyebrows and eva since i cum to dis place i do my eyebrows evry now and den i dont keep up w eyebrows bc i really dont need it place vry friendly

I tried this place out for the first time yesterday. My regular spot closed so I went to this place the next closest to my house. They were pretty busy but I still got called pretty quickly (less than 10 minutes). The lady that did my nails (didn’t catch her name) was timid but did a really nice job. My only issues were she kept trying to push gel polish and some other service on me. Their prices were already a little more expensive than what I’m used to so I was not trying to add more stuff. My second issue is that is that they don’t take card. Actually it’s unclear if they do or don’t but when I took out my card the guy asked me if I have cash instead. So either they don’t take card or they didn’t want to, but it was pretty inconvenient. I had exactly enough to pay for the service ($ 25 for full set acrylic tips).
Another little thing is they didn’t put oil on my cuticles before I washed my hands like every other nail salon I’ve ever been to nor did they put lotion on after I washed my hands. I would try this place again more as a backup but don’t think I’m ready to settle down and make them my new nail spot!

I went here today to meet my friends and didn’t even have an appointment to get mine done but when I had decided I could use a set of tips, they took me right away. I don’t know who I had (I wish I would’ve asked for her name) but she was very fast and completed my nails the exact way I had asked them to be done. She was also very knowledgable about gel nails and told me how to make them last longer. The prices are very reasonable. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because after the gel manicure they didn’t apply lotion or anything which left my hands really dried out and burning from the effects of the UV lamp. But other than that pretty good place, I would recommend making an appointment because they were crowded around lunch time. Friendly staff as well.

I came here to get my nails done for my Florida trip. This is the first ever coming here and its my first time getting acrylic nails. I got a bright coral color with little mickey mouse designs and I got the acrylic nails. I made an appointment which I say is HIGHLY RECOMMENED. This place can get quite busy with a lot of regulars. The salon is pretty big and nicely decorated. The lady who did my nails did a nice job. However, my nails would of used an extra coat of the coral polish. That’s why it doesn’t receive 5 stars. Nail salons especially for gel manicure should put 3 coats of polish.

Had my nails done yesterday and I think the service was okay. My nails were done fast and efficiently. I showed a picture of the style I wanted and I’m happy with my results.

I highly recommend this place. I go there from all the way from Bay Ridge Brooklyn to get my nails done here. That’s over an hour drive, but their service is so worth it.
The last few times I’ve gone in I’ve had Kelly do my permanent French acrylic nails and she’s done a beautiful job. This is th only nail salon I’ve found that does this process the way I used to get it done when I lived in New Jersey.
Everyone I’ve encountered here is very kind, seeing them interact with regulars can be quite amusing as they like to joke around.
I’m reviewing this place again because for some reason Unilocal deemed my last 5 star review as one that was not «recommended». Pro Nails deserves to have my 5 star review factored into their total.

Someone recommended this place to me and I went, had to wait about an hour but it was worth it, my nails came out fab! I give them 4 stars for their knowledge and skill of nails! However they need to do something about the flies!

THIS IS THE WORST NAIL SALON IN ALL OF NEW YORK!!! RUDE CHINESE PEOPLE EVERYWHERE! I asked how many people do eyelashes and the response was, «One person if you don’t want to wait you can get up and leave.» I don’t recommend this place to anyone. You’re better off going to an event without a manicure.

Horrible! Slow and attitude issues. Everyday is a bad day for them. If you want bad service come here. Burn your $$$ its equivalent to their service.

Pretty decent place. The owners are very nice people. The salon is very clean. I have been to many nail salons so this one by far keeps the place very clean.

Since my previous encounter, I have come to know ViVi very well. Not only is she great at her trade, but she is a wonderful person and has great customer service. She is very accommodating and treats all b her customers well. The salon itself is very clean and everyone seems to be polite.

Clean, efficient and friendly. But make an appointment because a lot of regular walk ins expect to be taken care of on the spot. Ask for Kim. She’s sweet, quick and her up sell is minimal.
Revised: called to make an appointment and they had no idea who Kim was. The man who owns the place gave me a gel manicure and overused the smoothing drill. My nails chipped, broke and bled 24 hours later. Be careful who does your gel manicures if you choose to have them. That device should not be overused like that. You should soak in acetate to minimize that drill. He just drilled away the existing coat I had. Now my nails are ruined.

I was recommended by a coworker with really nice nails.
They were friendly and welcoming as soon as I entered. They knew all their regular customers by name. I sat and listened to phone call after phone call (on speaker phone) of regulars calling in to make appointments. You could hear in the customers voices how pleased and familiar they were with the staff. I felt right at home and you didn’t hear too much back and forth conversation between the techs, that in itself was pleasing.
I had the UV gel nails done and am very happy with the results. I think I might have found my new nail spot. Thanks to my coworker, I too now have nice nails.

OMG I just had to write a review for this place. A friend of mine (with gorgeous nails) recommended this place. Tom did the most amazing job on my permanent French acrylic nails and I will DEFINITELY be going back!

I began coming here when I lived in Elmont and they always did a great job that lasted for up to a month. Tom is very skilled and polite and so are most of his staff. I moved back to Manhattan in November and have not been able to find a salon in my area that offers his services or takes the time and care he does with his clients. I go back whenever I can. i would recommend this salon to anyone.

Do not go to this place! It is next to Petland in the Rite Aid shopping lot on Hempstead Tpke in Elmont. I hate to say this but they have a guy that has some kind of disability doing nails. He went through a series of repetitive movements and gestures when doing my nails it was like he had OCD. He also damaged my nail beds with the drill. Worst experience ever getting my nails done!
