Super friendly lady helped us today. Service and selection were fantastic. They have Hershey’s ice cream! A nice selection of sweets, too. Cute ice cream parlor tables inside. Highly recommended.

Do not let the exterior fool you. Inside is a nice place to get a scoop of ice cream and relax. Good luck keeping the kids (young and old) away from the bulk candy bins. Overall, a very nice stop.

I’ve been here many times on vacations to Emerald Isle. Such a cute little place and the customer service is great. We always stop for ice cream a few times during the vacation week and hang out to eat it on the rocking chairs out front.
When you order ice cream they always ask you «Is this enough?» and if you say no, they add more with a smile! That’s just one example of the service you get from the friendly employees. They also have a few gifts and some salt water tafffy and other kinds of candy. There really is something for everyone here and did I mention it’s so cute?

Very cute shop and friendly staff. Choices were many. I finally opted for chocolate peanut butter with pretzel bits. Yummy. My son got the key lime pie and it tasted just like a piece of pie — crust and all.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My husband and I keep going back during our Emerald Isle vacation. Best ice cream, candy and gifts. In addition to all the fantastic treasures here, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. If it’s busy, don’t let the line scare you. They have tons of staff who jump at the opportunity to help and make the line move FAST! They also let you try as many items as you like and make sure you get as much as you want when serving you. This is probably my favorite place in Emerald Isle!

This place has ten times the charm of any other ice cream shop.
It knocked my socks off to be asked after scooping, «Is that enough or would you like more?»
You can also sample salt water taffy, laugh at the beach humor signs for sale and browse really great island gifts or just lick your ice cream on a rocker outside.

I don’t understand how people say this is the best ice cream in the island. It Hershey’s Ice cream! Ben and Jerry’s is a MILLION times better any day. Ice cream tastes as fake as fake gets. Go next door to Dairy Queen or across the street to Ben and Jerry’s

The *best* question to be asked at an ice cream shop. which is more than just an ice cream shop. Tchotchkes and candy greet you upon entering .and lure little ones as you make your way to the back of the store for the ice cream.
+ small play area for the littles
+ great variety of flavors
+ rocking chairs out front
+ staff has always been kind and patient while we decide
— parking can be tight
— traffic can be a bear in the summertime.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I am so lucky that it is just a few steps from our vacation place. We walk there after dinner and rock in the chairs while snacking on ice cream and JELLY BELLYS! It is open late and doesn’t close til the crowd it gone. Sweet friendly staff. Owner is gracious and shows she appreciates our business. DO NOT leave the island without trying this place out!!!

Adorable full-​service candy and ice cream shop in a gift shop. Service was great — the staff walks around offering water to all of the patrons. They have an excellent candy bar and you can even sample the extensive taffy selection, too. There are endless ice cream choices, as well as water ice and sorbet. Would highly recommend.

I just went here for a moosetracks and chocolate chip cookie dough 2-​scoop sundae. They have some seats inside for you to sit as well as a few seats outside. They have a ton of flavors and they hand you the menu while you wait in line. The line seems really long but it moves really really fast. The staff was really friendly and offered to give me more hot fudge if i ran out.
Moose tracks icecream is a must if you like peanut butter cups!

The «Sweet Spot» is actually more of a gift-​shop than an ice cream and candy store. but that one little idiosyncrasy aside, it is worth a visit for the soft-​serve Hershey’s Ice Cream. Staff is friendly and professional, and the ice cream is the best brand in the business!

Well service but fine BUT we bought taffy, chewy candies, and other random candy. All of the taffy and chewy candies were FAR from chewy. Its as though the candy had been sitting there since summer. If i’m at a candy store buying candy it would be nice if it was somewhat fresh.

This ice cream is SO delicious! I recommend to anyone and everyone! Definitely better than DQ or Ben & Jerrys. And I love looking at the kitschy shop while I enjoy my cone.
