Damn. Great burritos. In fact, I think the chicken burrito is one of the best I’ve had in the Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville area – second only to Gordo’s.

This place has good food. The bad thing is the manager Daniel Contreras. The owner doesn’t have a payroll control, making it easy for Daniel to still money from every hard working employee. Daniel doesn’t care for the workers treating them like slaves and fire them if he pleases.

I’ve actually driven here with some friends just to check out the spot, not because we were coming out of Home Depot which is funny. Carne asada tacos and steak quesadilla are good and sizes are big. They have a loaded breakfast burrito that was I was tempted to try but didn’t want to bite off more than I could chew, literally. Decent quick taco spot with patio seating.

Kapow! That’s the sound of the Louisiana Hot Link from Kelly’s Deli knocking me on my backside in the Home Depot parking lot yesterday. Shazam! I bit into a spicy ‘splosion. Seriously — I heard the pop on the first bite, followed immediately by the burning from the near-boiling temperature. Of course, the burn was made worse(much worse) by the ample red-colored juice containing two parts boiling crazy-hot sauce for every one part of everything else. By the end I was literally in tears. Great sandwich. Kapow!

Best breakfast burrito in Emeryville and possibly the whole East Bay. I’ve been going here at least once or twice a week with my girlfriend for the past 2 years. We always order a sausage or a bacon breakfast burrito. The burrito is only $ 6.50! Can you believe that? I’ve had breakfast burritos in Oakland and SF for $ 10 to even $ 14 and they don’t come anywhere close to how amazing Kelly’s Deli breakfast burritos are. They are full of cheese, scrambled eggs, sour cream, and their home made salsa. They are huge and you get a nice filling breakfast to start your day. Not only are their burritos and salsa amazing but the staff is also really nice. They also have a huge ice cooler full of sodas, energy drinks, water, and gatorades. They are located outside of the Home Depot. Place can get a line but I’ve never waited for longer than 10 – 15 minutes.

I once ate their pastor burrito 5 days out of the week for about a month straight… that said, I have a crush on this place and their orange colored salsa. Asada fries are tasty too, and come in a very filling portion. Jess the cashier is super nice and everyone has great customer service at this respectable establishment. Another plus is that you can find massive bottles of old school coca cola here. I would put a on Kelly’s if I could.

Located in the parking lot of Home Depot, I shied away from this place before, but I finally tried it for a quick meal and am glad I did! I had the bacon cheeseburger and the wife had the Italian sausage. Nothing fancy but it was freshly made and tasted great. In short, the place is cheap, fast, and good. There are also a couple seats outside so you can eat there. The tacos look to be the small, legit Mexican-type ones so I look forward to trying those the next time I need a quick meal when visiting the Depot.

When my dad and I came here the first time for lunch I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m no food snob, as I often find holes-in-the-wall to be better experiences than five star fine dining, but I wasn’t sure if it’d be worth the special trip we made without needing to go into Home Depot. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the three taco and drink combo for a little over six bucks, and went with the chicken. Oh goodness. These tacos are delicious(and the meat is not at all greasy like a previous review stated), with onions, cilantro, and a delicious salsa, and the amount of meat was really generous. Three was enough to fill me up without feeling stuffed but I also didn’t feel cheated. Came back today with my parents and brother and got the chicken tacos again. A bit disappointed because the girl who made them this time was a bit cheap with the meat, but they were still delicious and a great value. I’d make a trip here just for the tacos, and if I worked in the area I’d come across the parking lot to get them. There’s also a large menu of sandwiches, breakfast items, and items from the grill; my brother and dad got the polish dog, which was pretty large and, according to them, really good as well. My only real complaint is the service. I don’t need a new best friend, but at least humor me with a smile or something, rather than your deadpan responses. Sheesh.

Went here earlier today and the first thing I have to say is TOTALFOODCOMA. Now I’m not sure if it’s the food or the lack of sleep, but anyways, back to the review. I ordered a burrito al pastor. It came to $ 6.50 after tax. All-inall, it was decent, but nothing to write home(or to Unilocal!) about. The burrito was smaller than the food truck down the street, but was about on par flavor and taste wise… which isn’t saying much. Anyways, I dont think I’d go here over the mexican food truck, but I haven’t explored the menu too much yet and the options in this area are pretty limited, so we’ll see if I turn up here again.

This place is great. $ 3 dogs and grilled sausages. Great pastor tacos. Love it. And fat breakfast burritos. Nice.

i had a breakfast burrito here the other day, and it blew my mind… stuffed with chunks of breakfast sausages…2 eggs, hash browns, cheese and sour cream… this thing was heavy and massive… a bit on the expensive side, but considering that it easily a couple lbs, i guess it was worth the price tag… assortment of drinks galore along with chips and cookies and snacks… this is a fat mans mecca for food… fast, fatty, and lots of selection. well played sir. well done.

Kelly’s Deli is just outside Home Depot’s entrance. menu: chips, nacho, bagel, burritos, tacos, hot dogs, burgers, sammies, eats: hot dog(3.25) –typical jumbo miller hot dog, on the fatty beefy side –condimnets in bottles, toppings in tray on shelf. . –food typical of convenience stores, not fast food outlets. crumbs: –amigos smiling at passerbyers to drum up biz –friendly service, greets everyone as «friend» –ok food but not as a destination.

could be cheaper, but the stiff competition across the parking lot is clearly not doing it’s job. There is also a Taco Bell around the corner… if you like that sort of thing… I know I do!

IF I COULDGIVEZEROSTARS, I WOULD. These guys are dishonest assholes. I ordered food amounting to $ 5.25. The guy then charged me $ 7.35. When I questioned the amount, he told me it was due to taxes. No receipt. I should have walked away, but I was starving. However, I will never go back. If you want to deal with an honest business and hate getting ripped off, go somewhere else.

I am surprised to see negative reviews. I’ve had great experiences with this place. It can be a bit heavy but it’s basically like a Taqueria or Taco Truck so… They have great tacos(served with guac & a drink for $ 7). I usually go with carne or pastor. They have the best breakfast burrito I’ve been able to find around here.

This is the snack bar attached to Home Depot — perfectly ok place to grab a taco or two, in between busy errands. While it certainly beats eating at Taco Bell in the same mall, don’t expect anything like a real taco truck meal — meats generally lack character and are greasy, gristly affairs. It gets the job done. No more, no less, trending mostly towards the former.

I don’t know if I’d go out of my way to come to Kelly’s, in other words not unless I was doing some shopping in Emeryville, but it was good. Walking out of Home Depot I saw the lunch menu which seemed to have a good selection of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs and mexican dishes. Actually as I think about it, it’s probably a good location to put a deli since there’s not much in the immediate area of the shopping area. I had their breakfast burrito which had rice, cheese, eggs, hash brown, salsa and sour cream along with a meet. I chose their chorizo sausage. It was good, more filling than breakfast burritos at other places.

Ok, I wasn’t expecting much from a deli in front of home depot. BUT what a good find. I’ve had the Philly Cheese steak a couple times. Cooked to order. Lean beef. Very tasty. Friendly staff. Lots of variety on the menu. For what it is, its a 4 star for me.

Coffee from here is pretty good. Not watered down which is pretty surprising given that this is in front of Home Depot.
