Behnaz Cheikh, DDS

I have seen Dr. Cheikh on multiple occasions for root canals and once for a re-​treat (which, unfortunately, wasn’t really an option as I ended up having the tooth extracted so an implant could be put in). At any rate, Dr. Cheikh has always been up-​front with me and despite how miserable it is to have a root canal, my experiences with this office have always been comfortable and pain free — would highly recommend Dr. Cheikh to any of my friends/​family/​co-​workers.

Dr. Cheikh and her staff have presided over many root canals in my mouth. The procedures were painless and conducted with efficiency and compassion. Dr. Cheikh runs a tight ship but always takes the time to talk with her patients

Late 2010, I was visiting southern California and I ran into an unexpected dental problem. Contacted a few doctors in the area but not much luck. Dr. Cheikh was the last person I called that day and to my surprise she handled my case immediately and I could not be any happier by end of the day.

I was refereed to this doctor by an awesome dentist in Carlsbad named Dr. Park. I, like most people, have a fear of needles. It isn’t an issue with the pain, but rather than it creeps me to high hell feeling a hair thin piece of metal slide in and out of my gums.
I can not stress enough how much Behnaz and her assistant Amanda helped me with this problem. They loaded me with enough topical numbing agent that I was unlikely to feel a punch to my jaw, let alone the prick of a needle. Dr Behnaz must have experience with these kinds of problems because she was the first dentist I have ever had that got me to close my eyes and concentrate on something else to take my mind of the creepiness.
She was quick and concise with her work. Every aspect of her practice was awesome including the coziness of her office, the friendliness of her staff, the pricing for my root canal (under $ 300 with insurance) and the sensitivity she showed to making sure that I was comfortable.
