Went to check out a TRX class because I was in the area and it sounded fun. Rick was awesome, focused on proper form and muscle engagement, and was very encouraging throughout the workout. I was the only one in the class so it’s a shame more people don’t know about this place. Seems like the small businesses have great services but don’t seem to get the exposure as the bigger places. I will definitely be back to check out another class to support this small business…

Rick is hands down the best trainer I have ever come across. His motivational tactics and sense of humor actually make working out fun! Beleive it or not, when I first met Rick I couldnt even run to the curb from the door, and within 6 months of training 2 to 3 times per week for an hour max each session I was running up to 8 miles in an hour without even having to work very hard. If you are sick and tired of wasting your time at the gym walking on a treadmill or running along the beach in a bootcamp style workout, join CaliFitWKO. I can honestly say that Rick and his coaching serveices have been life changing. His positive energy helps me not only to stay fit, but to live an overall healthy lifestyle. The truth is, Rick has saved my life not once, but possibly 3 or 4 times. #InRickWeTrust

If motivation and energy are what you need to get in shape, this is your place. The training staff: obviously you have to mention Rick Noda who runs the show. He is a registered fitness nurse who has used his years of Elite Triathlete coaching and his years as a licensed nurse to create the perfect blend of wellness and athletic aspiration. He brings so much energy to each workout that you cannot help but become enthusiastic yourself. You actually want to perform the exercises(I cant believe that I am saying that). He also gives his clients an understanding of how their exercises can lead to less pain and get them to the level of performance they would like to achieve. The Environment: It can be almost anywhere!!! While their studio is in a great location on the 101, he also takes his workout to the gorgeous cliffside areas in Encinitas for his more casual workouts on the weekend. He will go to client’s homes as navigating the obstacles in ones home can be an athletic event for some senior citizens or individuals with some diseases. The ideal client: I am just a 40 y/o guy who wants his wife to still find him attractive in the years to come, and believe me that Rick can beat your body into any shape you are trying to achieve. But I also admire that he is training prior NFL players too in order to help them overcome much of the pain that the sport had left them with. For the casual person just trying to lose some weight or lower their cholesterol, he has some simpler routines to spruce up the metabolism. And for the senior citizen he has optimized the technique of functional movement to strengthen the clients body for the activities of daily life rather than focus on dumbells or something useless that you might see Suzanne Somers doing(no offense Chrissy!).

Rick is the man! He’s intense, knows his stuff and makes it fun. His energy is off the charts and gets you hooked. He is very detailed and explains what area is being targeted and why. I put off getting back in shape for a while to now being addicted. High recommend.

Rick kicks your butt without you even knowing it. You won’t even know you are working out until you are sore for the next three days. Mostly because the exercises are so fun and he keeps you laughing the whole time. His enthusiasm for fitness is contagious!
