My daughter’s wedding was August 2014. Gina and her crew did the hair and make-​up for the bridesmaids and of course my daughter. Gina also did my makeup. Before finding Gina we researched a large number of make-​up artists. Gina was our first choice and I must say we are very picky.
Gina is professional, gracious, lovely personality and extremely talented. She met and exceeded all our expectations. Our hours of research in finding her paid off. My daughter looked breath taking. In fact, when Gina finished her hair and make-​up and I saw her, I just started crying, she was so beautiful. The bridesmaids were also most pleased with their hair and make-​up. Great choice ladies, you will extremely happy with the results.

The long version: Our photographer referred us to Gina. At that point in the wedding planning I was a destination bride, so we actually hired Glamorous Brides without an in-​person meeting beforehand! We ended up scheduling a hair and makeup trial the month before the wedding while I was in town visiting. Luckily, it went wonderfully! Gina is a lovely person, warm and funny and sweet. She also happens to be exceedingly talented!
In addition, she really listened to my input and feedback, which was very important to me. I used to do theater and feel comfortable doing my own makeup, but my desire in hiring Gina was to ensure I didn’t have to stress over doing it on my wedding day, and that the heavier makeup would ‘read’ properly both in person and later in our professional photographs. I opted for the airbrush makeup that Gina offers, and I was very pleased with its look and lasting power!
We also had Gina handle hair and makeup for my four bridesmaids. I wanted them to feel comfortable and beautiful, and Gina helped us all to achieve both! She was great to work with and joke around with the morning of the wedding, while still being very on top of our hair and makeup timeline. In addition, each of my bridesmaids had a completely different skin tone and style, which was a point of concern to me while searching for a professional hair and makeup artist. But I needn’t have worried, as Gina easily grasped and complemented each girl’s natural beauty. Everyone had long-​lasting airbrush makeup, and they all looked lovely!

My mother-​in-​law found Gina online while searching for places to have her hair and make up done on my wedding day. After seeing pictures of her work and researching her pricing I was thinking of having my make up done by her as well. As the wedding got closer my original hair stylist, who my mother and I have been clients of for years, told us she would not be able to come on site to do our hair. We panicked and Gina graciously accommodated us. I was nervous to have my hair done by someone I had never met but when I met with her to do the consultation a few days before the wedding my nerves were settled when I realized how amazing she was at her craft. She did my bridal make up and hair, 2 mother’s hair and make up as well as 4 bridesmaid’s hair and make up. My mom has even switched from her old stylist and permanently sees Gina for her hair now. I would highly recommend Gina to anyone looking for bridal hair and make up! She is so sweet and genuine and has a great way of making you feel calm even during the chaos a wedding can cause. She stayed until I was all the way down the aisle, just in case I needed a touch up which I ended up needing after my Dad and brother saw me for the first time, I guess Gina made me so beautiful that they were moved to tears which of course made me cry, I ran back to Gina and she fixed me up right before the ceremony started. I was so thrilled with how my hair and make up turned out! Thank you, Gina!

Gina is awesome! One bridesmaid wanted her hair in braids and Gina was able to fulfill what she wanted. 2 other bridesmaids weren’t sure what to do with their hair and Gina was able to do their hair in a way that it matched the style of their dresses! (I had only asked them to get the same color, so they had different necklines for their dresses). Our makeup was wonderful. I felt beautiful. I have had people do my makeup before and I was a little nervous, but Gina had consulted with me and knew what I wanted. Again, Gina is great at what she does and is a wonderful person. Definitely book her for your wedding!

I have only positive things to say about Glamorous Brides! I had my hair and make up done for my wedding and I had my best friends hair done and makeup as well. We were greeted with champagne and an assorted tray of fruit, chocolate, and humus. The environment was very comfortable and professional. I loved my hair and my makeup! She really made my our experience memorable one!!! Thank you Gina!

Gina did an amazing job at my wedding. We booked her 6 months in advance because she is the best. She came to La Costa Resort & Spa and did all of our hair & make-​up and did an excellent job!
