Kupala Studio At Sola Salons

I recently bought a Living Social deal for Kupala Salon in Encinitas.
The salon is one of many in a building where you rent individual spaces. Very cool concept.
Anyway, I have been searching for a stylist to call my own and I think I have finally found her! Ksenia was so detailed, very friendly and took her time on cutting my hair.
I love my cut and and excited that I don’t have to look any longer. My last hairstylist moved out of town and it was like a divorce. I then wandered from hairstylist to hairstylist never quite finding what I was looking for. I don’t have to look anymore and to top it off, her prices are very reasonable!
Definitely check her out!

I really liked her as an individual though, so I hate to make a bad review. I still gave her a good tip. I’m not sure if she just had a bad day or what.

Yeay! I think I have finally found a great hairdresser!!! Thanks to groupon! I only found this place through groupon and now I don’t think I will go anywhere else! I am super happy with my haircut and it feels and looks so much healthier! My husband even likes it and he usually never wants me to cut my hair! Yeay!!!

Julia did an amazing job on my hair! I have had so many bad experiences it’s difficult for my to go and get my hair cut but she listened to exactly what I wanted and made my hair gorgeous!

FINALLY found someone great to cut my hair. I bought a groupon (good thing, or I literally would have never found this place… It’s one of the hidden beauty suites tucked into the building in the borrelli’s shopping center) and made an appointment hoping Ksenia could do something to salvage my hair, which I just recently destroyed stripping it at home. Not only was she able to bring my hair back to life from straw, but she gave me the best hair cut I’ve ever had. She even managed to save me from myself when I told her I wanted it cut a certain a way. She’s the one with the experience here, so I really appreciated that she told me what I was asking for was sure to come out U-​G-​L-​Y. Instead, she went with her gut on what would look good and I ended up loving it.
I’ve been groupon-​shopping hair salons for the last few years, and I think I’ve finally found one to stick with.

So happy to find Ksenia! I have been searching and not having the best luck finding someone who does really good highlights at a reasonable price. The best part about Ksenia is her technique– she gets very close to the root and does a really thorough job– which is so important– especially for a blonde with dark roots!
My cut was great too! Again– she has great technique and doesn’t race through your appointment to get to the next.
Her prices are also very reasonable! I will definitely be a repeat client!!!

Julia is a great hairdresser. I had a disastrous haircut at a rather expensive Solana Beach salon a few months ago. Julia rectified the issues and did an awesome job overall. I used the Groupon deal which was great. I highly recommend Julia. She is skilled, sweet and very attentive.

Ksenia is knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted. She explained that I had build up on my hair, weighing it down, then treated my hair with a clarifying shampoo. Then she gave me a beautiful cut and blowout. My hair not only looked fabulous, it felt fabulous. Ksenia is also very personable and fun to chat with, and uses locally produced hair products. I would definitely recommend.

Bought a groupon for full highlights and cut. Julia did a PHENOMENAL job! She worked on me for two hours and was very particular about all the details. I had my haircut a few times with Ksenia. I kept on coming to her salon because people are complementing how good my hair look; especially my husband. He thinks that I paid sooo much $ for my haircut. $ 40 for haircut is descent. Of course, how happy I am to feel good about myself:) I started to bring my two girls a few times for haircut and many times for their hair extensions; although I started to follow them too for getting hair extension. Ksenia has so many cool variety of hair extension colors. Parents at my kids school liked my kids haircut and their hair extension. If you are a mom, I recommend you to bring your kids to Ksenia’s salon for haircut etc. Ksenia and Julia are very professional, friendly and knowledgable. They know exactly what they are doing and to do with their customer’s hair. I can’t wait to have another haircut with Ksenia and hair color with Julia. My girls and I are regular customers now. Ksenia was so thorough and really knows what she is doing. I have very thick, course hair with some weird cowlicks; yet Ksenia is so skilled, she is able to give me the smooth look I want!
