I had some bumps. They were disconcerting, because I work at a homeless shelter and they looked kind of like the dreaded bed bugs. Several minutes later, I’m secure that my work life hasn’t come home. Even better, I know that I don’t have to forever discontinue use of my favorite deodorant. Now all I have to do is find a way to leave the compassion fatigue at the door.

I was in a terrible pain. No other MD could figure out what was my problem. They gave me all wrong medications till I went to Poway Dermatology. Like them all.
Dr. Patrik is super nice, caring, knowledgable and his Assistance Mina made me happy.
No Rash or Fungus anymore.

After much sun exposure from a vacation, I was very embarrassed to see a dermatologist about a darkening of the skin above my lips. However Dr. Blake was very nice and made me feel right at ease. He knew exactly what it was and prescribed me a treatment. My skin is back to normal and I got some good tips for next time I’m back under the California sun. I wish he worked in my hometown!

As far as I could remember I had a couple of acne scars and dark areas on my forehead. Dr. Blake was quick to notice and inform me about my habit of constantly touching my face. I was referred to him from a friend, and I’m glad I came to see him because he is such a professional with good character. But most of all, all the scars and acne are gone.
