Yoga tropics is a great studio if you like hot yoga. The sequence itself(60 minutes) isn’t too challenging but when combined with the heat, it is a great class. The 90 minute is quite challenging as you can imagine. The studio is nice and this location has a door on the west side and the east side which the teacher will occasionally open briefly to let in a welcomed breeze. If you are visiting, ask about the one week special. The students are friendly and welcoming. Great teachers!

A pearl. It takes time for a pearl to form in an oyster. Layers of crystalline Calcium Carbonate form iridescent gemstones that have been admired and cherished for centuries. Yoga Tropics west, a small yoga studio is part of Yoga Tropics, is the pearl location of Yoga Tropics. It is set off the main road, close to the Self Realization gardens and has that good chi vibe. Buddha heads and ornate Indian artwork fills the entry with loads of character, and the bathrooms rock. Pearls are diverse in shape, size and color, just like the people that you will meet at Tropics West. Over time layers of liquid transform to a beautiful gemstone in a similar way that the lessons and practice of yoga improves the body mind and spirit. The instructors share pearls of wisdom during practice, adding more dimension to the practice. The heated rooms at Tropics West excite the molecules of the body into an excited state and that is where the magic happens. The practice enables people to improve their practice and transform their bodies. I really enjoy taking the beginner series here because I learn a lot about how to move correctly and how the poses affect the organs in my body. I love all of the energy and movement, the pearls of wisdom bounce off of dark wooden floors and heighten the conscious experience and energy shared during practice.
