Cristina is very friendly, professional and budget friendly. She listens to your vision and interprets it well. We did a make up trial before my wedding and it was great. However, after wearing the makeup all day, I felt maybe my skin was a little more oily than I had thought. Also, I wanted a bit more blush and more of a «smoky eye.»
I was so worried about getting hot and sweaty and my makeup getting oily on my wedding day. Cristina showed up, on time, and made all the adjustments I had mentioned after my trial with her. My makeup and skin were flawless ALL day/​night! Everyone complimented my makeup and said I looked «gorgeous.»

I’m revealing a secrete here: i have not used any mascara for many months now, and that use to be my number one thing. Also i have not curled, bent, or damaged my natural lash. I’ve been visiting Cristina Underwood for several months now. Because of her my lashes are fuller than ever. Her studio is located in the heart of Encino, right next to «The Stand.»
Cristina is professional, honest, patient and a true perfectionist when it comes to make up & lash extensions. She doesn’t rush, which I appreciate when it comes to anything done on your face!
Her prices may come off a tad steep, but she works with you on that based on how well you maintain yourself as well. Ultimately, i think you get what you pay for, plus more with her. I hope she never leaves L.A.
Though i was hesitant to reveal one of my main beauty secrete weapons, I have to give credit to the woman behind it. I cant recommend her and her quality work enough.
Besides everyday wear, Cristina works on special events, movie sets and photoshoots. Thus, she is a busy lady and you will need to book her in advance, so serious inquiries only. Call her first to set an appointment. She uses a very effective appointment system thats sends you text confirmations and text reminders. That way you never forget about your appointment and no one is wasting anyones time here.
Parking can get confusing, but just park behind the gates if they are open. I’ve also parked around the Stand.

Christina did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding party! She made my wedding party a lot less stressful. She is very receptive to making changes and has a great attitude. I will definitely use her in the future. Love her!

Cristina did an amazing job on my makeup for my son’s Bar Mitzvah. I told her that I didn’t want to glam it up too much but wanted to be an enhanced version of myself. We did a trial and she did such a fantastic job. She didn’t rush at all and spent a lot of time figuring out what complimented me and what I liked. I really loved how I looked and felt — which is saying something! When she did my makeup on the day of the event, she remembered exactly what she had done and I got so many compliments on how I looked.
Cristina really listens to what you want, has great instincts on what will look good and is so nice and easy to talk to. I couldn’t have asked for more!

I had gotten my lashes done before but they all have been poorly done, usually they’d fall out within the next few days or start going all crooked.
I saw a deal online for Christina’s lash extensions and decided to give it a try. I was very pleaSed with the results! They came out amazing! They lasted longer than my previous services, and looked natural but still has that extra oomph I was looking for. She was very professional and personable and I enjoyed our time together. Her prices are a little on the expensive end but you are definitely getting your money’s worth. As a bridal stylist I would definitly refer my clients to her as I know she would do a amazing job. I highly recommend christina!

From the very beginning Cristina couldn’t have been more
proactive in making sure everything went perfect. I was able to
make an appt online no problem and she took time to send me
an email and texts confirming everything with proper instructions
on how to get there and where to park (I’ll admit I didn’t exactly
read them closely like i should have and ended up paying for meter
parking when it wasn’t necessary but that was my mistake)
Upon arriving I was asked to fill out some simple paperwork and
then she spoke with me about what kind of lashes I wanted (length,
style, thickness etc.) In my previous experience with lash extensions
the beautician never once even asked me what I wanted, they just sat
me down and went to work. Having her take the time to go over what I
wanted in a very specific format made me feel really good about what I was
about to go into and it gave her a way to custom fit everything to what
my eyes looked best with. Once that was taken care of she had me come
into the «procedure» room and had the most comfiest, fuzziest bed ever
waiting for me. For once I wasn’t dreading the painful process of laying on
a hard bed with just a slip of paper over it for 2+ hours while my entire body
cramped and went numb. She had some nice music playing and we had
some great conversation which made time go by faster… not to say she’s
a chatty cathy (I def got a snooze in while laying there) but its nice when
people show at least some interest in you. As she finished up she
explained to me the drying technique she was about to do and it is fantastic!
She makes it to where the glue dries instantly so if you want to shower or
workout after, YOU CAN! She just suggests waiting a few hours but hey
thats better than a whole day.
Once she dried everything and handed me a mirror, it was all over. I was so
impressed and happy with how natural my lashes looked!!! Not too long,
not to short, just the perfect amount of everything! I told her I wanted them
to be natural but noticeable and she did exactly that! Simply outstanding
work by her!
The only bad thing I can say is her lashes will make you a little
self-​obsessed and constantly stopping for a double-​take
whenever a mirrors around, lol. Other than that she’s an absolute
sensation :D

Cristina is very personable and does great work. My bridesmaids were very hesitant to have their makeup done because of past experience.
