Very friendly staff. Great service!!! Food arrived quickly. The restaurant was full on Sunday morning and they still managed to provide excellent customer service.

This is the worse restaurant I have EVER been to! I wheel my mom in and the lady asked can she walk to the table cause they don’t have room for the wheelchair? Um, no she can’t, if she could walk, I wouldn’t be lugging around a wheelchair. SO we get seated. It’s 4 of us at a table that barely fits 2 people. OK, so we order our coffee. The waiter pours steaming hot coffee on my daughters leg and walks away like it’s nothing. He comes back with napkins. Dude, you poured steaming hot coffee on my daughters leg. OK, we order our food. They bring us ice cold, I promise no exaggerating, ice cold eggs and get upset with me when I finally go off. The manager comes and of course everything is about money. He says your meals are free, I say no it’s not about the money. It’s about the rude disrespectful service from the time we walked thru the door! Again he talks about the money. Everything in life is not about money. Can you save my mom the embarrassment of being asked to walk. Can you take away the pain my daughter had when the coffee was spilt? If this place gave away free food, I wouldn’t go here again. AND to add insult to injury, the manager says«we hope your next experience here is better.» Next experience… Is he serious!?! The lady in front needs to be fired, the waiter needs to be fired, and the manager need to be fired! When I noticed the lady at the table next to us yelling at the waiter, I knew it wasn’t me. Dude needs to find another profession cause this just is not working for him. If you have a party lager than 2 do know go to this place. If you want to be treated like a person and not a herd of cattle do not go to this place. There is no walking room, no elbow room to eat, and the service is unacceptable! Save yourself the time and energy and go to Bakers across the street or Marie Calendars down Ventura. I wish I could give this place zero starts.

Always the greatest service and the food is simply wonderful. They may be a chain restaurant but they act like a mom and pop place!

Me and my bestfriend come here for breakfast on our late days for work. I love coming here the customer service is great and the food is timely. However it’s so small that the place is so small like the walking space and booths are so close to each other. But it’s a nice place to have breakfast just needs to expand the area size.

I love having breakfast here on weekend mornings but this place is way too chaotic. There are too many children crying and nagging– more than I can handle. When it’s too crowded the servers are hard to hunt down and you don’t get good service.

After looking 4 Mexican with no luck, We came into this IHOP as a last resort at like 8:30pm. We had the nicest most polite server(Benjamin) it was nice and clean the silverware was also clean, never fails I always get nasty ones. Also noticed the kids high chairs were individually rapped in plastic rap. Which means they were sanitized most of the chairs i have seen are always so dirty. I thought that was really cool. Everyone was very pleasant. Really recommend this place!

Came in a group of 6 lost 2 members because it took too long for a simple sundae to come out, in between our wait we saw a roach crawling on the wall. The service was terrible. To get a chocolate milk took half an hour… Our table was only checked on once after we were served our food. I had to ask the server for my toast so that I could eat my sunny side up eggs by the time she bothered to check on us my food was cold… the pancakes weren’t the normal fluffy they were hard and when I decided to get up(because the waitress didn’t come to check) to get service the waitress tried to counter the situation saying the first time she asked if everything was okay(one person) at the table said«yeah» and that we should of told her when she asked? But we didn’t get to the pancakes around that time. She proceeded to push her fingers into the pancakes and ask what was hard about them and said they didn’t feel hard at all then offered to take 20% which came around to a 1.80 or something off of the bill long story short… This was just hands down my worst iHOP experience.

I went to this I hop at about 9:30am and it was pretty crowed but our waitress came to us rather quickly and took our order which we received in about 10mins which was very surprising considering how crowded they were. Our waitress was very attentive asking us if we needed refills or anything else the manger even came over to see how everything was and if we needed anything. My overall experience was great here our service was quick and the employee’s were very friendly. And the food was delicious. I recommend this I hop to anyone looking to have a great breakfast in a uplifting atmosphere.

Wow!, what happened? Haven’t been here in a while. The cook needs to be schooled all over again. The omelet was runny, obviously undercooked. The Tbone was an embarrassment. Old meat. Really disappointing.

This IHOP a is great! The service was really wonderful, and the staff was super nice and accommodating. We had a coupon that wasn’t really valid, but they did what they could to make it work and we saved $ 9! I would definitely come back, and not just for breakfast!

Rub me down with butter and enter me in a pig catching contest because I just ate the biggest meal at ihop in Encino. My waiter was Eduardo whom was so polite and provided great service. The food was fresh and cooked exactly as I requested. I washed everything down with a large glass of milk and paid my bill… haven’t been hear for awhile until today-however, I can tell you the last time I was hear, I wasn’t disappointed either.

Walked in with my bud, saw a 3″ roach waddling accross the floor. To top it off an employee noticed me looking at the roach and kicked it under the counter. Repulsive. Disgusting. Unsanitary. Cringe!!! We nope’d the fuck out.

2.5 stars, rounded down. I haven’t been to an IHop in about 10 years. No real reason. However, unless the cook goes back to IHOP school, it might be another ten. They should be experts in Pancakes. Regretfully, they are not. This location does have the BESTCOFFEE on the Blvd. And you get a carafe full ! and more if you want more. New restaurant name-International House Of Coffee (IHOC). I had the 2 pancakes and they were served to me still 50% raw, and I returned them. It seems the cook always serves them this way, as I was told. People, pancakes should have a dark tan to brown color, not a light tan, and should be fluffy, not doughy. I also had eggs and 2 bacon strips, and coffee. All good, eventually. $ 12.45 including tax. Natalie, the server, was nice to talk to.

Of course, this is an IHOP so my expectations were not high. Went with my fiancé and his son… we all should have just gone with what IHOP is known for, but we didn’t. I got a breakfast sandwich with veggies on it and the veggies seemed like they had been left in the sauté pan for an hour. They were incredibly soggy and had zero flavor. The sandwich ordered by his son was just as bad, the bread was hard and the ham was chewy it was so overcooked. And my fiancé, the burger he got… it was the worst burger I’ve ever tasted in my life. The burger was cooked for so long that it actually hurt to eat it. His jaw was aching ½ way through and then he just gave up. Then we got our bill. $ 50 we ended up spending. The service was good so we were not about to not tip the waiter, but $ 50 for some of the worst food I’ve ever had? Just sad. So much of it was our fault, we could have gone to several other restaurants who we knew would be delicious and would have paid significantly less… but for a couple of different reasons we ended up at IHOP. We did contact the corporate office, we wanted at least a refund for the burger. We should have delt with it at the restaurant but decided to contact them later in the day. They ended up putting us in touch with the manager of the location but after a missed call we never heard back from him again. Long story short, if you end up at IHOP(highly suggest going to the local mom and pop diners instead), be prepared to spend a lot of money and stick with what they are in business for, simple breakfast.

Alright look… it’s an IHOP, that really should be enough said. But since you are asking… We came here on a Sunday morning just ahead of the brunch crowd(thank goodness!). Anytime after 10:30AM is a zoo and be prepared to wait in a small space that no one can really walk through and the staff there doesn’t really want to move out of your way to let you through. We were seated behind the hostess stand in a section that’s not part of the main dining room — think in between the kitchen and the bathroom — not glamorous and definitely not appetizing with kids running in between the tables. I made the error of trying to use the bathroom(a one seater) and didn’t even make it across the threshold and returned to my seat. Let’s just leave that there. As for the food, most of it arrived to the table cold. I really pitied the server because it’s not her fault but she adjusted quickly. I ordered the«Simple and Fit» veggie omlette which was supposed to be around 330 cals(according to their website). I asked them to sub out the swiss cheese for cheddar. When my dish arrived it was weird. The cheddar cheese was shredded and put on top, not melted into the omlette like I had expected, but fine whatever, I’ll eat it. But as I started eating it, I saw white cheese coming from inside the omlette and realized that they gave me double cheese… as in left the swiss in!(Thank goodness I’m not allergic, I just don’t like swiss in general). Now it’s no longer 330 cals which upset me since I’m trying to diet and was brought to IHOP by the group’s consensus and it was way too late to ask for a new one because that place was a zoo. Bottom line, it’s an IHOP, you know what you’re in store for. If this was any other restaurant I would give it 2 stars but since it’s IHOP, it can have 3. If you go, sit in the main dining room so it’s less chaotic.

Great breakfast for its price. They don’t have the Nutella crepes any longer which is sad. I ordered a regular French toast and Pancake combo for 2 and coffee for 28 not bad. My only issue is sitting outside random ppl come by and say hi and we were approached by a homeless so we gave him our left overs so he can leave us alone. You can sit inside or on the side if sitting outdoors.

Okay, IHOP… You weren’t too bad this time around. Got there on National free pancake day… And of course it was packed. Put our reservation in for 3 and we were told it was a 45 minute wait. We went out to a store close by for 15 mins. And when we came back, we found out we had missed our name! But the nice lady quickly got us a table and sat us right away. Very nice of her to be considerate of us. Overall, maybe it was just me… But the pancakes were pretty darn good here. I guess I should keep in mind that they were free… So any free food is good. Lmao! We put our pancake order in and it came in like 5 mins. Yeah, I’m sure it was all ready already considering it was Pancake Day. But that’s still quick. Try every syrup they have while you’re at it… Strawberry, blueberry, and boysenberry were the shizzznit. Good experience for an IHOP. I guess I don’t mind recommending this place. Not baaad, IHOP… Not bad.

The Scene: Dinner at IHOP Sherman Oaks — Sunday Evening I was looking for an affordable oven roasted turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, complimentary WIFI and power plugs for our laptops. Wow! This was definitely The Wrong Place to start idyllic thoughts of affordable dinners($ 8& under), nearby WIFI piggybacking(non-existent), & power plugs(non-existent). What were I & my buddy thinking !? Well we ended up ordering ‘tea service’, supplying our own tea bags, & doing computer work that didn’t require internet. Thank you IHOP Sherman Oaks but we will be taking WIFI-using-selves to more accommodating place.

Having Colorado omelet — It was good. I like this place. I prefer it a little more than Dennys cause if you get pancakes they have many more syrup options to choose from. This particular I Hop is nice cause it is open 24 hours. and unlike most Denny’s where just about every one is 24 hours this is not so with I Hop But this one is and i really like that. THe place is not that big its a smaller one in a nice area in encino not far from my home. On Ventura Blvd. I aprove of this I hop =o)
