Shisha Cafe & Lounge

Not a big fan of hookah lounges or the ratchet/​hipster crowds that are present, but if I have to go to one this one definitely is my favorite. The service is great, and the hookah is excellent. Their chicken panini is amazing. The seats are very comfortable and you get privacy which is a plus. Will definitely be back if I’m too lazy to pack my own hookah and clean up afterwards.

Came here for the first time tonight and it was a pleasant experience. The workers here are all nice and very helpful. Tiny hookah place but it was clean and great music. Will be coming back!

This was my first visit, as I live in Orange County. I always like to discover new restaurants in L.A. So I decided to give this place a shot. It’s a big plus that it is family owned, as I have a small business myself. I believe in supporting small businesses. They are the back bone of this country. Our host was Ali. He was very inviting and hospitable. He made me feel right at home. The center booths have a traditional Persian setup (except without the Persian rug as the fabric). The ambience and lighting is perfect! The sound system and HD TV monitors are on point! The choice of music is amazing!
The hookah– I personally like the glass hookah. I only have it when I’m sharing. It was $ 10 off (because it was Monday Night). It hit so smooth for 2 hours.
The Shisha Hummus– I’m very picky on hummus, as I make it homemade. I don’t like anything out of the can, but I decided to give it a try. It was served with fresh baked Persian naan. It consists of spinach, feta cheese and spices. It was delicious!!!
Turkish coffee– It’s very easy to mess up Turkish Coffee. Some places water it down so much, I’d rather drink water at that point. It was made to perfection!
Next time I’ll go back on a weekend so I can do my work in the afternoon. I’m looking forward to it!

Nice environment, I liked the service. Our server was Ali. He always checked on us and wanted to make sure everything is ok. Overall I would recommend this place to others.

This is our go to spot! Although this place gets packed… the service is phenomenal. Ali was our server! Constantly checking on us and how we were doing. Food is amazing and fresh! I always get the Beef Koobideh with half rice and half Cesar salad. It’s to die for! If you’re thinking of an appetizer get the shisha fries. We first found out of this place through Groupon! So glad we did :) Thanks Shisha!!!

The service is pretty good. Their food is amazing I come to this place for their feta fries. It’s bomb. And their hookahs are pretty good. Ali was our server he was very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Came here again with my boyfriend, and the environment was awesome. Better than the first time I came.
The guy offered us a selection of a delicious hookah we fell in love with!
They also have new membership cards where after 10 times you get a free hookah Or something, I wasn’t too sure but feel free to call and ask don’t take my word for it!
They also have great music, and the employees are super nice and constantly checking in on you. I will forsure be back.

Never tried hookah in 20 years of my life but after walking into this place, I just gave in.
Such great ambience with the Persian music in the background and very relaxed environment. I know if I was stressed, this would be the perfect place to come and destress.
We ordered a glass hookah and to total came out to be about $ 55 for 3 people which was probably the most expensive one there, however since it was my first time I didn’t mind much.
Highly recommend this place and the owners are very nice and friendly!

It was our first time trying this hookah place. The locations wry easy to find and always a lot of parking available. The inside is very comfortable, small but cozy. The waitress was knowledgable and nice with fast service.
The hookah was pretty good, nothing special but the flavor that they picked for us was perfect. We also ordered food which was exceptional .we got nachos and it was nothing out of the ordinary.
All and all the place didn’t leave unsatisfied and is great for a late night hang out spot. Highly recommend this hookah place to try next time you are in the mood for great flavored hookah.

I’ve been here a few times; it’s a friendly and laid back atmosphere with good music and music videos, and the staff is nice and caring. They do get too busy at times and service suffers a bit, but they do their best.
Food is decent, but the portions are bit on the small side; however, they give you fresh baked naan which is very good.
Hookahs are good quality, and they refresh your charcoal often. Prices on everything are fair.

Meet some co-​workers here after a night of working to grab hookah and some food. This was my second time at this location. First time I came I was told to smoke hookah we had to be outside which I didnt’t like too much however, this time that I came in, I was surprised to see my co-​workers smoking and eating inside.
As far as the hookah service goes, charcoal was brought one time while I was here which was for about an hour. I believe charcoal should be brought out more often and hookah should be check way more often. What is the point of coming out to a hookah lounge if they don’t ensure the hookah is always hitting how it’s suppose to be.
Now on to the actual hookah. Seems like there might have been a piece missing or some sort of cheap fix up used. the rubber that connect the down stem with the base of the hookah was missing and as a result air was slipping out and not air tight. I think there was black tapped used to seal the missing gap, but it wasn’t very effective. The hose that we were using I liked was a Burberry pattern design and it was nice and firm (seemed kind of new) which is always a plus.

One of the best hookah places I have ever been too. The service was impeccable. The food smelled delicious (yet I didn’t order any). The restaurant was decorated very nicely and I felt like I was in another world.
My friend and I ordered their Shisha Mint Tea with their Sugar (which I hardly tasted) & a glass hookah with glass hose. The tobacco suggestion our server told us to try out was Tangerine — Mint — Orange. Let me just say that it was smooth & very tasty. We were pleased. Later my cousins came & ordered a glass hookah and purchased the Blue Mist. Also very tasty but too strong for me. Juices were also good but too foamy.
I am definitely coming here again to try the food and also get the pineapple head. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Btw the price is very fair.

I found this spot on Groupon and I’m so glad I bought it! I actually got it for my best friend and I to enjoy. She is very picky and particular about hookah places. She is loyal to her spots, I tend to venture down Ventura more. So when I told her we were going to have kabob and hookah she knew there was no choice.
Everyone working here, the young Persian guy from Germany and the lovely young lady at the front made out experience fantastic!
The food was great, kabob was alright but the rice was OMG! My girl got the ghormesabzi and it was better than the one my dad makes! Don’t tell him that. :p
