dont be turned on by the beauty of the place and the talk of the people who work here, the people are so fake nice and over the top. i paid $ 550 not including tip for hair color, and they ruined my hair, and the person who did it is the owner /​most experienced colorist. i use to have dark brown hair down to my butt, my hair was burned by bleach and i had to cut half of it off, the worst hair experience of my life.

Raquel! Raquel! Raquel! I can’t thank her enough for the amazing transformation she gave me. I have fine straight hair, I hadn’t colored it in years, and my hair was starting to look droopy. I was ready for a change and she gave it to me. She’s super personable and made me feel really comfortable. She did baylage high lights and some layers, Which came out absolutely flawless. The salon in general has a great vibe! Love love love!

I have very thick coarse hair which can be challenging to style especially when I chose to go with an asymmetric bob. Definitely was not disappointed with Alyssa or Raquel. New salon has a very modern and clean appearance. They also accept card now! Tips must be in cash though. Also, be prepared to monitor the meters. There are usually meter maids patrolling the area.

Love Allure. I’ve been coming here for years. My hair color always looks amazing, my hair looks so healthy and natural. Roger is truly terrific. I also have Kim cut my hair. She always does a great job. The price is perfect and the service is friendly and always professional. It’s so nice to get NYC level cut and color and not have to go into the city!

Love, love, love Allure! Roger is the greatest colorist I’ve seen in a while. Ive tried many salons in the city and still am convinced that he’s top notch. Angela is amazing for blow outs. The salon is also gorgeous and a pleasure to be in. I definitely recommend them!

I wrote a review of this place yesterday, but seems to have disappeared. First I have to respond to review by Sandy Dex below. She was disappointed in haircut by Kim and dissed Kim. Kim is actually one of the best haircutters I have been to either in NYC or Europe. I glanced at Sandy’s fb page and understand she likes her hair longer, but she was gorgeous in the cut she got from Kim. Kim is an artist and cuts to your face and bone structure. My hair is great and fun. Erik is a talented colorist who listens. I only moved to New Jersey a year ago and this Salon has added to my happiness in being here.

Everyone there is a darling and talented. Erik is a sweetheart of a colorist. Roger is a wizard and Corey can do some magic with your hair. If Kim is still there, I advise you to DO NOT sit in her chair of you care about the length of your hair. She will hack it off within seconds. Too many seconds too late and then you’ve got a pixie cut. I was miserable for a year because of her haircut. The level of depression was deep, and she really didn’t give a fuck. It’s grown out since then. It’s been a year today. Facebook notified me about a memory shared from last year and it was a before and after photo of that horrible haircut.

I have been going to Roger for 16 years– he’s the only person I’ve ever let color my hair — - he’s truly the best! He takes everything you want and then somehow makes it even better~~Alex is an amazing hairstylist, whether you want a cut, extensions or one of her updos~~ and Alan is so helpful and accommodating with all the bookings. Love love love this salon

For me to drive over the George Washington Bridge this place must be good! After trying numerous salons all over Westchester, NY I almost gave up on ever finding a stylist that worked for me. I began asking my friends that had great hair where they went and starting experimenting. That’s when I found Kon at Allure Salon! My friend has been going to him for years and I can see why. His haircuts are perfection. Kon is very precise and is constantly cross-​checking his work. He examines my hair carefully during the consultation to give me the best advice on what would work best. Kon also offers blowout instructions for people like me who are terrible at styling. For any ladies with long hair that are used to paying 90+ dollars for stylists that just snip the ends for 10 mins. need to go to Allure. Eric colored my hair today and was a pleasure to work with. He made sure not to use any harsh chemicals on my hair to prevent damage. The color came out perfect with a lot of shine. Everyone that works at the salon are very professional and friendly. You never get a gossipy vibe, its a very welcoming environment.

I’ve been going to Allure for years just to see Alex for my hair extensions and Erik for ombré. They are both incredibly talented stylists, that give you exactly what you ask for. I love coming to the salon because everyone is soooo friendly and sweet. I will be a lifelong customer! Thanks Alan and Roger!!!
