This is a great dive that is under the radar. Arcade games, cold beer, hilarious old guys, and a bartender who matches wits with the hilarious old guys. Also has great happy hour specials and it’s right across from Gothic. Smoke-​free.

Kind of a hole in the wall/​broadway establishment. They have shuffle board, darts, pool tables, air hockey, etc… plenty of seating and the have a juke box for playing music. Cheap drinks that are stronger than what you get if you go more north on boradway. Clientele is a bit older crowd but still can have a good time with friends without the pressures of being downtown.

Great place, friendly bartenders, pizzas are the bomb! Sports on every TV! Lottery machines, shuffleboard, two pool tables, free bingo every Sunday for shots and stuff!

Dive bar off broadway… really awesome service and a place where you can get a strong drink. They are making a turn around for the better. Plus they have a shuffleboard, pool tables, pin ball, air hockey. Oh and one of those $ 25 cent stuffed animal carne machines. It’s eccrentic and never boring. Worth checking out. A lot better than what it looks like on the outside.

I really liked this bar when Laura worked here but now that she is gone I probably wont come back. The other bartenders are really bitchy. It’s such a shame because this place could be awesome. If you have a big group and you want to drink for cheap this would still be the place to go. If you have a small group you will be totally bored. Laura made it really fun & she was very interesting. Too bad :(

This. Place. Is. Great.
Went last saturday and loved all of the games and atmosphere. Cheap drinks, great music, nice bartender, air hockey, darts and shuffle board. It may not be for everyone, but if you want to have a good time with your friends in an unpretentious and relaxed environment its divine.

Not really a restaurant, more a neighborhood tavern. I generously added a star for the shuffleboard table and the pinball machine.
But this place is sad, its like someone set up a bar in a 1960’s ER waiting room. Its antiseptic and the smell of Pine Sol envelopes your nose like a Thai hooker’s thighs. Its depressing and dreary.
The juke box played Merle Haggard. I would rather listen to Jessica Simpson sing Death to my Enemies by Fiddy Cent.
Unless you enjoy using a walker and stewing in your own urine, don’t go here please.

Ever wonder what how a bar would look like if it took over a Dollar General? Than check the dump that is the Englenook. It is a dive bar in a space that was meant for a Rite Aid. The service was fine and the drinks were mediocre but the space itself is just super odd and strange. There’s a big square bar in the middle and several tables around it. Check it out for the sheer oddity that it is.
