Ok still waiting for my 3 breakfast sandwiches and it’s been 25 mins already. They are not busy can’t waste my time here again.

I would give this place a five star rating because I love the menu and food that much, however at this location there seem to often be inconsistencies with the food and how many toppings we get, how cooked it is/isn’t, etc. I’ve never had anything less than friendly service here and I always see the employees working hard, but it has become routine for me to ask for an extra dressing side when I order and then again when I get my food, because about 8⁄10 times it hasn’t been there. But nonetheless we love the basil/garlic pizza and the arugula mozz sandwich– I get balsamic to dip it in! I’m also a big fan of the thai coconut salad.

I have been a fan of Mod Market for years. Unfortunately, this excludes the University Bl location. Came for breakfast today and had a terrible experience. First of all, the guy running the cash register was extremely sick, coughing allover the place on everything. My food arrived with undercooked whites in the eggs and a super small portion of potatoes. The staff seems unhappy and that they don’t like being there. I will stick with the colorado Bl. Location from now on!

I recently came here with my family for a quick bite to eat and was quite pleased with the service and food. The service was a lot friendlier and the food was prepared with more care than before. The thing I like most about this place is that they give you normal portions. And by that, I mean, they don’t give you more than you need to cause overeating… So, choose your size wisely, eat lots of veggies, and remember, everything in moderation. I’m content with Modern Market for now. P. S. Mod Market is now Modern Market.

Went back to give this place another chance and tried the M’rita pizza. Got it home and the outer crust was cooked okay but the inner crust was very under cooked, mushy dough to the extent I couldn’t even pick the slice up w/o it falling apart. Again, the ingredients were sparse. I give up Modmarket! A good idea poorly implemented.

Love it!!! My all time favorite is their Roman salad it’s to die for! If you take your receipt back from the last time you went there you get a percentage off your balance

I love ModMarket! I Frequent multiple locations for breakfast or lunch. Breakfast — I always get the southwest tofu scramble. It’s soo good. Nice big pile of avocado atop tofu scrambled with black beans and corn and comes with delicious breakfast potatoes and toast with whipped butter I cannot pass up! Lunch — basically everything is great! Salads and sandwiches are fantastic. The only slight criticism I have is that they should serve coffee past 11.

Is there a reason this is the only Modmarket that I have seen that has less than a 4 star average? Maybe others have experienced what I experienced this morning. I have always given Modmarkets 4 or 5 stars… but not this one. I had breakfast and ordered my eggs over easy. They were overcooked. The toast was also burnt around the edges and the potatoes were burnt so bad that they couldn’t be eaten. Sorry Modmarket… you are usually great!

I like this Modmarket as much as I like the one on Arapahoe — 5 stars like. As highlighted in the other review, I’m in love with their salads and always order them. My favorite is the winter green with its beautiful combination of the spinach, apples, walnuts, goat cheese, and a light dress of the vinaigrette. I also recommend their tofu with the salad. No, seriously, if you haven’t tried tofu, just get over any masculinity issues and do it.

Good and healthy offerings. We came on a week day so the wait was minimal. My only complaint is with the«executive» staff that was visiting this day. The gentleman was going around tapping on tables and didn’t even acknowledge the customers. Seems like an odd behavior but I suppose when some folks reach that level they ignore what got them there… overall though we’ll be back as the regular staff were awesome.

Food is not very good. Breakfast is a good deal but they can’t make eggs to order very well. Can’t do poached. And every time I order they are either over or under cooked. Also surprisingly not many vegetarian options. I’d stick with salad or pizza if I ate here. Good soda though… I think the bad food is mostly due to the«chefs» at this location In response to below: this was the correct location. I tried to correct my review at the other but it hasn’t let me. Thank you for your response and I think the breakfast prices are very reasonable, I’m just not a big fan of the food. I have eaten at this location many times because my boyfriend likes it. Upped 2 stars for good atmosphere, mimosas, and customer service. Also nutritional info on receipts is pretty cool, but in my opinion the food is pretty bland.

This is a great little establishment, super convenient for me and offers a variety of healthy foods. This last visit I stopped by with my parents after an afternoon jaunt on the Highline Canal and we couldn’t have been more pleased. I got the half chicken basil sandwich and the greens salad with balsamic. Both were very tasty and fit the bill for what I was craving. Our total for three lunches and two beers was $ 26, making it quite affordable as well. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating also makes this a win — there’s usually a steady flow of customers, adding to the casual ambience. This location is perfect for casual get togethers and would also work well as a first date spot. I was additionally pleased that the calories in the meal print out on the receipt, something I haven’t run into in this neighborhood before. Furthermore a coupon for 10% off my next visit printed on the receipt so I doubt it’ll be long before I visit again. All in all a perfect quick lunch spot with healthy foods for dine in or take out.

My sister just moved into the Kent Place apartments, so we stop in here for a quick lunch. So far, I have really liked everything I’ve tried. The salads are quite yummy; my only request there would be to serve the avocado in slices on a salad. Makes more sense than in a glob on the side… that’s just being picky. I’ve had two of the pizzas, and one of the sandwiches, all of which tasted rather good. I would agree that the service is a little slow and sometimes on the less-friendly side, but again, perhaps I’ve just been in on a bad day. I’ll definitely be coming back.

I like the food, I love that the nutritional information is provided, and the gluten free items are super when dining with peopl that have allergies. However, the prices are a tad high, and most times I think the staff is as well. I love that they have Sriracha readily available. Also, no substitutions. I can get a different cheese on my sandwich, but would have to pay for it. That makes no sense to me.

It’s pretty decent! Honestly, the service here hasn’t been my favorite, but that’s no biggie. You barely interact with the staff, so whatever. Their soda machine was down when we went, but we weren’t told about the outage, and we weren’t offered a refund for the sodas we’d purchased… So, that’s kinda weird. They finally got it working as we were getting our coats on to leave, but it was still mixed improperly, so they were dumped. The food here has been fine! My expectations from ModMarket are fulfilled here. I’m always a little hungry when I leave, but I figure it’s good for me.

Oh man, Modmarket. I want to like you — I like your salads, and the spicy rooster pizza was awesome, but your breakfast is AWFUL. The only consistency in breakfast at Modmarket is the burned toast they give you and the pretty lousy coffee. Neither of these things would be a big deal to me but every time I order breakfast here the eggs are so bad. I’ll admit, I don’t particularly like eggs — but protein, blah blah blah. So I usually eat egg whites if I have to eat them — and since Modmarket’s breakfast menu is super egg-focused that’s what I end up with.(I tried the tofu scramble and it was sad — giant chunks of unseasoned tofu — somebody needs to read Isa Chandra Moskowitz’ scrambled tofu recipe or something.) On this visit there was orange garnishing my plate, but usually it’s a super overripe(read: mushy) strawberry — on a couple of occasions I’ve had strawberries that were actually rotten/mouldy. On this particular occasion my eggs were not just runny, but RAW(see photos) which sufficiently squicked me out enough to put me off eating any more of it. The potatoes, too — were undercooked. At least it means some super good portion control for my diet; silver lining and all that. My boyfriend lives nearby and likes their bacon sandwich(he doesn’t eat eggs) so I’ve been here for many breakfasts, unfortunately. I won’t make that mistake again as I’ve literally never had a good one here. Modmarket needs to up their breakfast game — add a breakfast burrito maybe? Revise the sad, flavorless tofu scramble? Or at the very least, teach your cooks to properly prepare eggs so that your customers don’t get salmonella.

This was my second time at Modmarket and I tried a different location this time. I don’t know if it was the location or the fact that we ordered ½ sizes, but it wasn’t very good. Husband and I wanted to have split soup and sandwich and a split pizza and sandwich so we could try a few things. I took the order takers suggestion of the broccoli cheddar soup over the chicken green chili and the Thai chicken over the salmon sandwich. Sadly I was disappointed with both. The chicken on the THAICHICKENSANDWICH was cut into strips and did not stay in the sandwich well or have a good balance of the other ingredients. The Basil Chicken sandwich I had at another location was a breast and was so much easier to eat. Using strips versus one piece of chicken really took away from the flavor. Was this because it was a half size, I don’t know. I would advise not ordering half sandwiches. Also, either the bread was over-toasted or it simply wasn’t fresh(unlike the outstanding ciabatta I had at the other location). The BROCCOLICHEDDAR soup was okay, but I don’t know why cheddar was in the name. It was misleading. If it would have been called broccoli potato soup, I would have been pleased with the flavor, but I simply was wanting some cheddar in my soup. I would not order again. As for my husband, he ordered a pepperoni pizza and salmon sandwich. The PIZZA had good flavor(tasty sauce, cheese, and pepperoni), but the dough was way too soft and even could be described as mushy. You needed a fork to eat it because it was too difficult to pick up, but sadly we weren’t given one and there were none at the self service station. I would not order pizza from here again — maybe another location of they are confident they are cooked well. The SALMONSANDWICH was the highlight of the meal. Salmon was cooked perfectly, was fresh, and all the sandwich accompaniments have a tasty balance. One note on kitchen execution here. The salmon piece was only 1⁄3 the size of the bread so we had to pull apart the bread and the break down the salmon with our fingers to distribute evenly. Another curious tidbit about kitchen execution: the elderly couple next to me ordered entrée of flank steak with two sides. The meal was squeezed on such a small plate that it looked like the food would fall off. Why not use a nice plate for a $ 11 entrée? P. S. the restaurant was way too cold to eat in comfortably, I would guess 68 degrees or so. Tried to sit outside but the awning did not provide cover for the light rain that was falling. Will I be back to Modmarket? Meh, maybe. I waited a year to go and I lived without it for that long. Maybe if I get another Bogo coupon I will give it another shot, but most likely not this location.
