good happy hour! Went last night for dinner, first time there other than HH… OK, local spot. Nothing too outstanding

Copper Pot has great prices and gets the job done. Its nice there is usually no wait and you can enjoy a quick nice meal. I usually get their omelettes and the meat to veggie ratio is a bit overwhelming but all in all its still good.

The Copper Pot has excellent burgers! Their buns look homemade and are wonderful too. I can’t speak for anything else on the menu but we definitely plan to go back. The service was a little slow but definitely worth the wait.

Great food! I ordered the Chicken fried chicken with creamy gravy and their green chili, side of Onion Rings, and slice of the Chocolate Buttermilk Cake. All were VERYGOOD! I ordered to go and they had EVERYTHING in the bag(food items, utensils, ketchup, etc). Awesome Food and Awesome Service!

For an old school diner this fits the bill. The prices are fantastic but saving a dollar comes at a price. Their menu has countless American style options and I think it is great they offer almost everything in a half size portion. The flavor was a-ok at about $ 10 a meal it was exactly what I expected.

What a fun spot! The green chili really has some bite and service is very solicitous. Serving comfort food in a cheery sports bar atmosphere. My favorite was the slogan on all the servers shirts! Perfect Colorado diner/bar!

The Copper Pot is what I would call a «Neighborhood Place,» located in Englewood. It is easy to miss, if you don’t know what you are looking for. The interior is comfortable, with browns, tans, and white colors inside. It is small inside. There are approximately 13 – 15 tables, which includes 2 – 3 booths. The bar seats approximately 10 people. There are 5 – 6 televisions, so you won’t miss your favorite team. The floor is hardwood, and the pictures on the wall are nice as well, easy to look at. My husband and I both ordered our regular, bacon and egg. What was nice was instead of 2 eggs, you get 3 eggs. I had the hash browns, and my husband had their roasted potatoes. I ordered the hash browns as I can’t have onions or garlic right now(dietary restrictions right now due to health reasons, oh well), and you can’t be sure that there isn’t garlic or onion seasoning on the potatoes. My husband had their roasted potatoes. The bacon was good, as well as the eggs, and both kinds of potatoes. I had the sourdough toast, and my husband had the wheat toast. We both enjoyed our breakfast. The bacon was good, guess you can call me a «bacon snob,» as I love bacon! Their bacon was good, definitely better quality. Parking is next to the restaurant, on the north side, and it’s free, so that’s good. Their coffee is good, and easy enough to get your cup refilled or topped off. Did I mention that service was good, it is. The only negative I can say about this restaurant, is that it is chilly inside. We have eaten here twice, and both times, it was chilly inside. The doors that you use to enter the restaurant are double doors. There is a brief space when you enter through the first door. The second door is right there, leading directly into the restaurant, with no waiting/seating area. I don’t know if this adds to the chilly air, but it is chilly inside. Wear or have a sweater or light weight coat with you, as you will need it. I don’t like eating with my coat on, and luckily I had on a winter sweater, but even with that, I was still chilled. It would be nice if they could turn up the heat a notch or two. I noticed other patrons eating with their coats on as well, so it wasn’t only me, and my husband agreed with me as well. So, will we be back, yes, as it’s a nice establishment. Thanks!

I highly recommend this establishment. We stopped here for the 1st time. The service was prompt and friendly, and not obtrusive. We got the Mushroom Romano for an appetizer, I got the chicken fried chicken and my wife got the Teriyaki Chicken wrap. The mushrooms were excellent and could have been a meal by themselves. I really liked the bite that the red pepper gave them. My wife enjoyed the Teriyaki sauce, but thought it was right on the edge of being too sweet. The chicken fried chicken was done just right. Crispy breading and moist meat. The gravy was done well, with the right amount of pepper. I tried their signature cocktail, the Copper Top Mule. I liked the heady ginger flavor, although it might be a little strong for some. I could tell that their normal clientele was probably millennials due the waiter asking to hold my drivers license as surety against the theft of the copper mug the drink comes in. If I become a regular, I would hope that requirement could be waived.

If you have to pick up someone near Swedidh Hospital. This is a very good place to take someone after you pick them up. Very good breakfast place! Excellent omelettes at this place and good coffee for the price.

Good cozy and charming breakfast spot on way south Broadway in Englewood. I do love me a breakfast, and this place will really deliver a filling, albeit old school, breakfast! We have stopped in twice and tried out the skillets– I had the southwestern and they forgot ALL Of the fresh items(tomatoes, onions, etc…). Boyfriends skillet was equally saturated with loads and loads of white gravy– there is an egg under there somewhere!!! Another time, I tried the Huevos Rancheros– I swear there was an egg under there somewhere! If the menu was lightened up, freshened up with this thing called PRODUCE, or slightly more inspired, this place would be the bomb! For now, it is breakfast like your parents liked it, assuming they were truck drivers ; Not all is lost– it is cozy, charming and friendly, and the food is tasty. I will look forward to trying it again in the future!

We have lived in the neighborhood for ten years and have driven past the Copper Pot many times and wondering about it. After looking at Unilocal revews, we decided to check it out. What a hidden neighborhood gem! It was just the kind of restaurant we’ve been looking for in teh neighborhood. My husband had the meatloaf dinner and I had the burger smothered in green chili. The green chili was so good, I had to buy a bowl to-go. The best green chili I’ve had in Denver. On top of that, the service was perfect, everyone was super friendly. We will definitely be back, looking forward to coming for breakfast too!

Very good food however the service was not great. Our waitress seemed to have no clue as to what she was doing, didn’t know the drink menu, was inattentive, not personable at all and we had to flag her down multiple times to remind her to bring drinks we had ordered. We ended up going elsewhere for dessert because she was so bad. Bottom line, great food bad service. Such a shame. **UPDATE – the owner of the restaurant was nice enough to contact me and apologize for the service my husband and I received. His message was very genuine and it’s quite apparent he cares about the quality of service his restaurant is putting out. I’m certain we will give them another try based on the thoughtful message I received… and my husband is craving their Copper Mac N Cheese.

Very tasty. Skillets of mac and cheese — you can add almost anything to them: bacon, chicken, etc. Try it with the pulled pork. Friendly staff. Decent beer selection. Lots of flies every time I’m here though.

Well I’ll be damned. A seriously good chicken fried chicken. Perfectly done with awesome sauce and mashed potatoes. Nice side salad that tasted fresh. Staff was lovely: attentive, polite, friendly, and on the spot with drinks, food, and refills. Owner(?)/GM(?) stopped by to make sure everything was good. I like that. Will be back.

Oh for the love of green chili… you must come here for breakfast/brunch! I mean seriously… I did’t think such a little place could make such a big impact on the history of Colorado green chili. First of all, they offer it in both regular fashion and vegetarian and both are equally as good. I even have to get a couple sides to go so I can eat/bathe with it during the week. You can have it several different ways. On the side, on top, underneath, flat out smothering any object of your choice. You can get a breakfast burrito, a breakfast chimichanga(yeah you heard me), or huevos rancheros(my personal fav). It is pretty spicy but I am also a wimp. But, it is so good the spice won’t even slow you down from slurping the stuff! I have been here for dinner before as well, where they serve a pretty bad ass burger. I do have to say, brunch is the best though! On top of that, they will always find a spot for you and this place isn’t so overly crowded(yet) that you have to wait an hour. OH and did I mention they make a mean bloody mary and offer $ 7 bottomless mimosas! Say whhhat?!

I really like the Copper Pot. I’ve been to both locations which are oddly only about a mile apart from each other. They are very similar and offer the same items on the menu. As I’ve written about in my other review about its sister location, this cozy little restaurant feels like it’s a mama bear keeping her cubs warm and safe. It just has that feel about it. The salads here are delicious and the service is always efficient and friendly. I usually come here alone because I like having me time sometimes, but when I do bring others along they say that they understand what I mean about feeling the same kind of warmth that this restaurant provides. They offer a full bar here if you are in need of another type of warmth. This is really just a great place to come to if you are feeling down or if you are suffering from the winter blues. It really is.

My boyfriend and I came here for the first time yesterday and were very impressed! I have driven by this gem several times going back and forth on Broadway and was always curious about it. I had the misconception that it is just a coffee place or something, nope, it is an outstanding restaurant for any meal of the day! The interior is modern, clean and well decorated. Prices on the menu are very reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. I had the breakfast burrito and my guy had the country breakfast. The green chili on my burrito was amazing(and I’m a tough green chili critic!) We can’t wait to come back and see what they have to offer for lunch and dinner.

I went to the Copper Pot when we were on vacation in Colorado. The food is outstanding !! My husbands New York steak was delicious, cooked to perfection. The spinach artichoke dip is to die for not to mention the chile verde fries. I had the meatloaf and is was also great! The food was so good we went back a second time and we’re not disappointed. My daughter had the Copper Slopper and loved it !!! They servings are huge and the service is great. The Chef is just as amazing as the food. Can’t wait to go back !

I’ve been to The Copper Pot a few times for weekend brunch. This review only covers the weekend brunch. We’ve never had lunch or dinner at The Copper Pot. The food is pretty good. The atmosphere is cozy. It’s a small restaurant, but unlike its nearby competitors, it’s pretty easy to get a table on the weekends. The Copper Pot has a liquor license, so you can get a bloody mary or mimosa with your brunch. Service is generally friendly. There seems to be a focus on regulars which I find normal for a restaurant of this size. My most recent experience left me with just a couple suggestions for improvement. I ordered the chicken fried steak. If I recall correctly, it was around $ 12. It comes with biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and eggs. My scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, but because the gravy topped the chicken fried steak, there wasn’t enough for my biscuits, and I needed to order more. If I ran the kitchen, I would top the biscuits with gravy then add some gravy to the top of the chicken fried steak. My second concern seems to be more common in restaurants these days. If you’re serving breakfast, please wrap a spoon in your silverware or provide one with the customer’s coffee. I don’t like to ask for a spoon in order to stir my coffee. In this case, I stirred my coffee with my fork. Once my meal was finished an my plate was taken, I used my knife. I have no idea why our server never noticed that I needed a spoon. Coffee should be served with a spoon so that those folks who use cream and sugar can stir them in. Lastly, the juice. My wife ordered a large apple juice. This costs $ 3.50. For our $ 3.50, we received a 12 oz glass of apple juice with ice in it. If you’re going to add ice, serve it in a pint glass. If you’re going to charge $ 3.50, I think that more than 12 oz is in order unless you’re serving fresh squeezed juice or high-quality apple cider which this clearly wasn’t. Our neighbors ordered OJ which was served in the same sized glass, but without ice. The Copper Pot is an OK restaurant, but it doesn’t merit four or five stars. There’s too much room for improvement, and it doesn’t have the correct combination of price, service, and atmosphere to warrant a higher review. The wife and I will continue to eat here occasionally on the weekends when we’re looking for something different that doesn’t require us to put our names on a list and wait for a table.

Ryan K. and I scored on a Unilocal!Deal to The Copper Pot: $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food. We’re lucky that the restaurant is within walking distance for us. We had heard some good reviews of the place and decided we’d have dinner here over the weekend. As others may have already mentioned, the seating is quite intimate. If you have super-secret information to dispel to your dinner mate(s), this is not the place to do so. Since we’re no secret spies, we had no issue sitting close to other patrons. I warn you though: portions are very generous, so it’s best if you come here a little hungry and forego an appetizer. Trust me, your entrée will be plenty of food. Now, about the food: Spinach/Artichoke Dip: Great, simple appetizer, served with small bites of bread. I preferred dipping the complimentary tortilla chips into the dip though. Mac & Cheese with Bacon — Holy Moly! Delicious gooey starchy goodness. I had enough leftover for lunch the next day. The right amount of flavor. Yum! Copper Chopper — Ryan K. had this: two delicious pork chops that are tender and not too chewy. The mashed potatoes were loaded(cheese, bacon), so no need for gravy. Onion rings were crispy and hearty. Overall, hearty Midwestern-style food for good prices. Service was attentive and we definitely walked out of Copper Pot with leftovers and full stomachs. Will be back!
