I first couldn’t locate this place, because the map on here is wrong! It’s actually located in the Lincoln Center, near the Caribou Coffee and Rudy’s deli. I have a favorite spot to get my nails done in Lakewood, but I was in a pinch on my lunch break. The place was clean, the staff very friendly. A pedicure was $ 25, which I’m used to paying $ 22, but I figure I’m in a different area so that may be why. The chairs were ok– I’ve sat in better, and my water was not warm enough. But the gentleman who helped me did a great job. He started painting my toes without massaging so I was pretty distraught, but as soon as he finished he started massaging– and for 10 minutes! I was overall pretty pleased with this place. It won’t take the place of my usual, but I would definitely go back. I would suggest they update their map though.

I normally paint my own nails but they only last a few days. I decided to go back to acrylics. I love going to Venus and getting my nails done. I love the bright colors and how my tech always has a new idea for me. Pedicures are great as well. I could fall asleep or stay all day.

Great work on me! I like Mani and pedi but like longer massages during my pedi. Busy day so didn’t get the extra but nice place.

I’ve experienced better service when this nail salon was MVP nails. My mother lives close so we have been going here for a few years. In the past I would have given them three stars due to the convenience and the fact that I have received about the same experience at every nail salon I have been too. The music, menu of services, atmosphere, décor and extras like hot tea have gotten better and better however the service is getting worse and worse. A year ago it was a relaxing experience but now I just want to get out of there as soon as possible. This last time I was there it was a very uncomfortable experience. Some good points they changed the music from adult contemporary radio to soothing spa music no commercials, they now serve hot tea or water, and they continue to make the spa a beautiful place to the eye. However the nail techs were talking so loud to one another that I could barely hear my mother. The water in my pedicure was freezing and it took multiple complaints from me for the nail tech to finally ask another employee for help on how to properly operate the equipment. My nail tech stopped my pedicure to begin a walk-ins rebase leaving me waiting until some other tech came to finish my paint. The nail tech that started my mother’s pedicure just brought over a bowl of water and began her manicure while the nail tech that finished my paint finished my mom’s pedicure. I could keep going with other unpleasant things that happened that day but I think my point has been made. No matter how beautiful you make the spa it doesnt make up for poor customer service. This last experience has brought me to the decision not to return.

Located across the street from Wildlife Experience, this salon has experienced and talented technicians. My personal favorite is Michael, but Mimi and Lauren are also great. I’ve had acrylic nails for over 15 years both in CA and in CO. These technicians are the best!
