Do not order a cake for a party from these people. Period. To start with the positives: the staff is always very very nice, their food is pretty good, and they have pretty delicious baked goods. I ordered a cake 2 weeks in advance and gave a pick up time. They didn’t finish it on time and the afternoon I picked it up they were rushing in the back to finish the icing. It was 100% a rush job. The cake looked like it had been iced and decorated by a 10 year old child. I asked for 3 words on the cake, they looked like whoever wrote them were drunk. Literally people at my party said this. Very disappointing for a party. Very unprofessional work. However, I’m sure it will all taste great and the pastries I ordered came out exactly as requested. Still disappointed to have to display the cake, if I had more time prior to my event I would have sent it back.

Easily my favorite place to eat to Enid. Imagine a Panera run by a family of women, with better food and awesome desserts. I usually go for the quiche combo, but everything I’ve ever had there has been excellent. The desserts will blow your mind. Homemade cheesecake, brownies, pies — you name it, they’ve got it. Super friendly service, awesome food, good prices. Can’t say enough about Katy’s Pantry!

Really good food but expensive. Lots of delicious dessert choices, and those are pretty reasonably priced.

This is one great eatery. They were busy the entire time I was there, which was about 2 hours. We were there to have a retirement party for a coworker. I had a reubon sandwich. The pasta salad I ordered did not come with my sandwich, but as a side item. The pasta salad and sandwich were both very good. I can’t wait to come back here to eat next time I am in Enid.

While in Enid for work, Katy’s was suggested to me for lunch. I thought it was cute upon walking in, and the dessert case is extremely tempting. Both days I went I had the special. The first day was a chicken and avocado sandwich which was pretty good, although I thought it had a little too much mayo and the bread was grilled a little too long. I ended up just eating the edges of the bread and took the sandwich apart. The chicken was prepared well. It also came with a house salad that I chose to have with balsamic vinaigrette. The dressing was okay and I liked that the salad had veggies you don’t often see in house salads like carrots, broccoli and radishes. We ended up coming back the next day, mostly because of its proximity to where we were at. I chose the special again which was taco salad. I’m a huge fan of taco salads in general, but I knew it wouldn’t be traditional because it stated that it would be with tortilla chips. I was fine with that and thought it was, again, okay. They did also opt to use chili for the topping instead of a typical taco salad ground beef or chicken. I didn’t mind it though. What I experienced both days here was terrible service. The ladies at the counter were fine, but the girl who brought out the food was awful. It took forever to get my food both days, and she was there both days. She neglected to bring silverware with food more than once, and also forgot desserts for others at the table. I can’t know for sure whether this all was her fault, but it was clear that she simply couldn’t do a very good job. It’s too bad because I feel like there is a lot of potential here, but there are some serious issues that need to be fixed. Another huge problem is they did not make sure people at the same table had the same table number on their ticket. This caused people at the table to get their food at different times, therefore some people were finished eating by the time others finally received their meal. There is a lot of room for improvement with how they take and deliver orders. If it weren’t for the service, I’d definitely give Katy’s 3 stars, especially because everyone seemed to really enjoy their desserts. There were just other things that I couldn’t get past.

Service was truly abysmal. Was ignored at the counter while the three cashiers carried on with their conversation and was then rudely and sharply greeted with«here or to go…» after one of the clearly annoyed cashiers dragged her feet to the counter. Following an abrasive ordering process, the woman half-heartedly failed to get one of my cards to run and, clearly annoyed, thrust in back in my face. Worst ordering experience of my life to date. Was very surprising because it looks like such a friendly place but clearly it’s not.

This quaint little family friendly eatery is one of our favorites when we swing through our home town. While the sandwiches and soups are good, we really go for dessert. Whether it’s Hello Dolly Bars, or Italian Crème cake, they do not disappoint, and sugar cookies cannot be beat!

I have been to Katy’s Pantry several times. Not for the food, definitely not for the service, but mainly because there is not many alternatives in Enid. The food can be okay at times but the horrible service is just not worth it. Their biggest issue is the fact that they have many teenagers that work there that have absolutely no customer service training. They answer the phone with«hello» and never say«thank you» after you order. I recently called-in an order of 2 sandwiches. The girl that was taking my ordered asked me to repeat my order twice. After I picked it up, I got home to find that one of my sandwiches was incorrect. I called back to inform them of the incorrect order and it was the same girl that took my order. She did not apologize for the incorrect order, but instead asked me if I had already paid for it… yeah, that happened. I then told her I wanted my ordered fixed and I went back to pick it up. Low and behold, I arrived and told them what I was there to pick up. The same girl who I spoke with on the phone handed me a bag. I said«thank you» and she said, «uh huh.» So I take my food back home and open it up. It was salad. Not what I ordered. I think this small example speaks enormously to the lack of training the employees have. All told, this resturant has terrible service(not necessarily rude service, just really bad) their food takes forever to get to your table, and their prices are ridiculous for what it is. Their military discount is also an issue I have. They only offer a military discount for a military member in uniform. Then, the member can only get the discount on their meal(meaning sandwich only) not drink, not salad.

This has been a favorite among my friends and family for many years! We always have great service and delicious food! My personal favorite is the ham & cheese panini with a side order of sweet potato fries to share! Also, their sugar cookies are the best I’ve ever had!!! A great local place with fresh, homemade food! I like it even better now that they’ve expanded :)

Ordered turkey panini, it looked pretty plain but made up for it in taste. The place was packed at lunch which is usually a pretty good sign. The menu is a bit pricey, $ 8 for a sandwich and pickle, and the cheapest salad is $ 5. The desserts looked tasty, I only got cookies to take to the kids, though. Again, a bit pricey. They did refill my «to go» coke which some places won’t do, but I ended up eating in after they cleaned some tables. The ladies were busy but friendly enough. I’ll probably come back.

My parents just moved to enid. I was visiting from Dallas and we needed a dessert for that night. I bopped into Katy’s and got a whole coconut cream pie. Goooooooooood Gawd! Best pie ever. Huge! Awesome filling. Perfect crust. Reasonable price. While I was there I watched them build a BLT. Yum! It was gorgeous. A work of art. I can’t wait to go back to enid and Katy’s pantry!

Overpriced, overhyped, and underperforming. Entering a place that looks somewhere between a small-town grandma’s seventies kitchen and a half-way house, I’m always surprised to see this place packed. Nothing I have eaten here yet has come close to justify the ridiculously long wait, and everything tastes like the first step in the recipe is «open a can of…» The pastries are lackluster, the service grudging, and flavor struggling. The prices are not at all justifiable: For the price of a loaf of bread, pack of Kraft cheese, and stick of butter you too can enjoy a single grilled cheese reminiscent of the finest elementary school cafeteria. The French fries are awful(not just because a place called«pantry» serves French fries) unseasoned and mushy. The sandwiches are overwhelmingly dull, with the small exception of the French dip. The pastries are less enticing than store-bought boxes of processed pastries. I am a girl who loves a good Danish… and dang, that was a really bad Danish– not worth the price or calories. The chili tastes a bit like the large metal pot it’s been sitting in all day, and is more of a ground-beef based spicy spaghetti sauce(would you like some chili with your pile of ground beef?). And the wait. Ugh. Who in the working world has time to wait an hour between ordering your food and finally getting to eat it? Certainly not anyone from the base, but they only give a military discount for members in uniform –which while a very nice and appreciated gesture– is kind of messed up. How is a service member on the weekend any less active duty if they are in normal cloths? If you need proof just ask for their ID. So many people seem to like this place, maybe because Enid is seriously lacking in anything close to a bakery or café… but nothing about the three times I’ve visited over the last two years makes this place worth going to.

Severly undercooked fries and a rueben that was 80% sauerkraut. Can I get a little meat with my cheap ingredients? For $ 12 that’s a huge disappointment.

WORST experience ever. I’m so disappointed. While coming to Oklahoma to visit family I asked if they had any good cafés. My mother suggested we go to this great place called«Katy’s Pantry». After a short drive over hearing my mother say how wonderful it was. We had arrived. Walking in we were not greeted with hello or hi but with dirty looks. We looked at the different cakes, pies and pastries. We were ready to order. Cashier comes to the front asked what were going to get. My mother placed her order first she was rude to her. Then I places my order she was rude to me and also very rude to my fiancé. Finally after her as well as another woman being rude to my fiancé over him asking a simple question if they had ice coffee. Another woman replied very very rudely the only way you’ll have ice coffee is if you get a cup full of Ice and put the coffee in it. Which would have been fine if they would have said it nicely. After that I told my mother let’s go. We didn’t even finish ordering which was a shame because the pies looks wonderful. I have never felt so unwanted at a establishment before. We ended up coming to Starbucks and were treated with such friendliness and hospitality. I will not be giving it a good review once I get home.

This is hands down the best restaurant in Enid, OK. Everything is made fresh from the pastries to the bread they use. When you order a sandwich put it on the house bread, you won’t regret it I promise! From time to time there can be a bit of a wait, it certainly isn’t fast food type. However it is very good and relatively good for you! You can get sandwiches, some hot meals like lasagna, soups and various baked goods. They also make fresh sides like pasta salad there in house. If you are military you can get a discount when in uniform. Go try it out and see how good it is for yourself!

The food is great. The sugar cookies are world-class and nothing short of amazing! The sugar cookies are far and above any I have had anywhere else. My grandparents live in Enid and this is one of the first stops on every visit. We live on the east coast and I always do a walkabout at Katy’s just to double check I have not missed a recipe book to explain how to make them when I can’t make it 1k miles west. These things have a huge following and certainly live up to it in every bite. Don’t believe me? Read the other reviews or check out my Mom’s Pinterest board called«Search for Katy’s Sugar Cookies» she started to try and make something similar for me. It now has well over 70 people following it to try and find a similar recipe. It’s a great bakery.

Katy’s pantry is the I travel a lot for work and on a recent trip to good ol’ Enid, OK, had to come here from a local’s recommendation. I am so glad I did… This is now a staple for lunch and yes… dessert! The daily specials are amazing along with the soups and sandwiches. The sandwiches are made fresh with homemade bread. Their pantry bread is amazing. I haven’t been disappointed by their daily soups. What they really excel in is their dessert! I’ve had their sugar almond cookies and had the best strawberry cake of my life! Yes… of my life! It’s fresh baked, moist, and the icing is delicious and not too sweet. My coworkers ordered the Mississippi mud bar, chocolate peanut butter pie, Turtle cheesecake… and they are all in diabetic comas now. RIP… :) But really, they enjoyed them a lot. Definitely a good indulgence. Ate here for both lunch and dinner. Although the lines seem long, there always places to sit. it’s well decorated and has a nice aesthetic. This is a great fresh food alternative compared other places i’ve tried on my travels to the area. As an out-of-towner this is one of the best local eateries i’ve had in a while!

Katy’s Pantry has now moved from the Oakwood Mall to Heritage Hills. Such a cute space, decorated so nice. Very cute new location! Everything is so fresh here. Fresh, Quality ingredients. There are few things more disappointing to me than a brown salad and I definitely don’t have to worry about this at Katy’s. The salads are fresh, sandwiches are fresh, cookies are never stale. Cakes are so good, try the Strawberry Cake w Creamcheese frosting, it is So So So Delicious! I have it every year on my Birthday! The food here is just amazing. On my last visit I ordered ½ turkey sandwich 1⁄2 salad, a Dr Pepper and I had just had to get 2 cookies for my boys. Only downside for me was the price. I am cheap, so a $ 13 lunch is just really too much for me.
