Lovely interior. Reminded me of an upscale Starbucks. I only tried the coffee but the food options looked good. Ordered some crazy gooey Nutella coffee drink and a regular iced coffee with vanilla. The Nutella drink was amazing(and oh so bad for me). Expensive, a bit more than a Starbucks. The regular iced coffee was nothing special and more expensive than most coffee places. In fact, it had a bitter taste to it so I suspect they added way too much vanilla syrup. Really pleasant place to sit and relax. All the other customers were on their laptops so it must have good wifi.

The staff here have a terrible attitude. Also, they’re not prepaid. I scheduled to meet with the manager to set up a party, showed up and no manager was available to tell us anything. Terrible.

Not for those who are«cultured» in coffee. I got six shots of espresso. Coffee tasted like it was roasted too long. Six shots of espresso and a ruben costed me 17.80. So overall, the coffee was terrible but the price was even worse. I would only recommend this place to people who like mediocre coffee for atrocious prices.

Great atmosphere, service is fine, but the espresso is shoddy at best. There is no subtlety to it, expressing no finesse or delicacy. Their drip coffee is good, though, saving my opinion on the establishment.

NOT for the coffee connoisseur! We stopped off of exit 24 headed home to upstate New York and looking for something better than Starbucks– I was sadly mistaken. Our beverages are not palatable and the staff could hardly handle our order! Ew. Never again.

Great place to study and have a drink. Food is okay for a coffee shop… Cozy vibe, lots of Lecom students and senior citizens hanging out.

A comfortable, if somewhat odd coffee shop. Looking fairly high end, yet with seating that was somewhat uncomfortable. They do have free wi-fi and it appeared that college students and others visit to take advantage of it. The pastry case was filled with many items, including a wide variety of muffins. I selected a banana nut muffin to go along with the coffee I ordered. The muffin was spectacular and worth another visit. The coffee, however, lacked the boldness I like in my coffee. All in all, a decent visit!

I have been to Coffee Cultures up in Buffalo(many of which have closed) but didn’t realize they were in Erie. My mom and I were shopping after going to the Greek festival and needed a cold beverage. After leaving Pier 1, I spotted this because it was easy to get in to. I was sort of confused seeing the LECOM logo on the top of the building. Seems like they rent study areas to the one side or something? I almost thought they were like in a change over since you couldn’t see clearly inside. I picked up iced coffees for my mom and me. Though, I got a large and she a small, the manager too the order and then one of the counter people gave us both smalls. I told her the mistake and then she just clarified which one was black, etc. I asked for a couple of splenda in mine and I don’t really know how many made it in there as after I got my replaced Large, it didn’t seem to be the sweetness I was expecting. My mom said her black iced coffee was very tasty and mine was ok too. At least the coffee was cold before they put it in the ice. Was about $ 5.50 for both of our drinks. I wouldn’t rush back to Coffee Culture, but it fit the bill. Was interesting that they had ice cream and we looked over the desserts, but they were pricey.

The coffee is not terrible. It is comparable to Starbucks or Caribou. It is clean and they have ice cream and pastries. The do a strange thing by not allowing the customer to put their own cream in their coffee.

Had a yummy bagel and hot chocolate for breakfast one morning. The place is kind of a mix between Starbucks and Panera. The muffins and stuff in the display looked so scrumptious. They also had ice cream! The bagel was nice and fluffy and chewy, with the perfect amount of cream cheese. My hot chocolate was just right, too. Not too sweet. Nice and toasty.

The coffee was pretty gross & tasted like cafeteria coffee instead of a cappuccino. The servers were nice though and the food was decent … Also I noticed they don’t give tips to their minimum wage workers which made me not want to go back. Instead they are putting a box for money for LECOM students to get a scholarship fund. What about the people that work for $ 8 an hour?

Their pastries are decent, though occasionally a little burned. I’ve had their pizza and Ruben several times and they have yet to disappoint. The only issue is that if you order pizza you’re in for a small wait, but no more that 10 minutes. I’ve studied, worked on roleplaying games, and just come here to talk with friends and each time it’s been enjoyable. If you go to LECOM there is access to a private study area on the other side of the building, so that’s a nice benefit.

This is my go –to place for coffee when I visit the Erie area. They open early, have a great environment for studying or reading. I have not tried their pastries, but their chai tea lattes and holiday drinks are good.

This is a gem along the Peach Street corridor. The food is always delicious and carefully prepared by a staff that is so customer-friendly. They go above and beyond to make your experience first rate. There isn’t a bad item on the menu. Wonderful healthy options and a few decadent goodies as well. We love getting a lunch combo of soup + a sandwich or salad + a beverage. Great coffee and tea selections. It’s the best coffee shop in Erie!

What a cute little coffee shop! To my surprise, Coffee Culture is a chain found throughout Canada, New York, Florida, and has a few locations in Pennsylvania as well. To me, this was much cozier than your typical Starbucks. There were several booths when you first walk in and plenty of outlets along the back wall where it table/booth seating as well. They have a fireplace with some leather chairs nearby(perfect for the cold PA Erie winter!) as well. I was impressed with the flavor of the regular house blend of coffee and-how cute-it came with a little biscotti on the side. Unfortunately, mine was a casualty to my coffee so I only got to take one bite, but it was tasty especially for being complimentary. I tried my man’s cappucino which was tasty-and when ordering they rattled off a list of toppings(cinnamon, cocoa, nutmeg, and even whipped cream). They had not only pastries and sandwiches but also ice cream, although I didn’t sample anything. There was a pretty steady stream of all types of people-students, families, couples, etc– for the few hours we were there. I’d recommend coming here particularly if you prefer the more independent-like coffee shops as opposed to Starbucks. Although this is a chain, it keeps that feeling of individuality that I appreciate when going out for coffee. Because of the cozy atmosphere and the yummy coffee, I will be back!

In response to Alice, it’s a chain coffee-shop that is based in Canada, not a hipster start-up that sells non-GMO/gluten free pastries, that has slam poetry every Friday night, etc. Though I’m sure management would like to incorporate those elements more! That being said, I love the lattes. I use to work there and can testify that a lot of work goes into making sure the food is as fresh and delicious as possible. Ingredients come from high-quality sources. The managers like to give new items a try that they made up themselves. Though it may be my bias, the staff will accomodate to you in any way they can, and every person I know who works there thrive off of seeing that you are happy with your service. Oh, and free wifi. Why not?

Though I’m still not the biggest fan of their regular coffee, their skinny lattes are pretty darn good! I’ve tried«skinny» drinks at Starbucks and other places, and they tasted like absolute crud. Every time I go to Coffee Culture to study, I always get a skinny latte. Yes, it does keep me awake. Also, I once said their food is a hidden gem, and I still feel the same way about it! I recently tried a wrap that had corn beef, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing. SUPERGOOD! :D The food may be a bit pricier than I’d like it to be, but it always tastes great.

So the food here is not great(I had a BLT bagel sandwich that was nothing special). I’m not even sure if the coffee is any good since I’m not a coffee drinker. BUT it’s an excellent place to study. They could probably use some more lighting, but there are enough tables and outlets to make this café the perfect place to get some work done. It’s quieter than Panera and bigger than the café at B&N. Oh yeah… and there’s FREEWIFI :) When I came here, I was most impressed with the electrical plugs that were attached to a number of booth seats along the window… genius! I was also quickly, but politely, told I was not able to bring in any outside food even if I ordered a drink(by a guy who thought the copstash standard and a bowtie made a cool fashion statement –__-). But overall, service was friendly and efficient. I was happy to see they had a nice tea selection!
