My fiancé is an electrician currently helping build a great clips location in Independence. He was in there tonight because I begged him to get a haircut(seriously his hair was INSANE he need one BAD!) He works hard all day and spent the small free time he had to stop in to this great clips to get a haircut for me. While there he was waiting for his turn and making small talk with one of the stylists sweeping up hair. He told her he was working on the new location and asked if he could see behind one of their booth/stations to see if it was set up the same. She said no and turned away from him. No problem, but then she proceeded to call the COPS on him. The cops showed up and interviewed him and checked out his IDs, etc. They ended up laughing with him that it was absolutely ridiculous that they wasted their time and his time coming over there. BUT as a woman I understand how a random man could make you uncomfortable and I TOTALLY get the need to feel like you need to protect yourself. But after all this she couldn’t even apologize to him for the inconvenience. The police apologized to him but she couldn’t even say«I’m sorry» for jumping to conclusions and refused his service for no reason. My fiancée is the gentlest man ever, she does not know this of course, but any respectable man would’ve accepted her apologize and understood. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed. Bravo to Erlanger PD tho!

Went to the location in Richmond KY a couple weeks ago, and had a totally different experience. She cut my sons hair exactly as I asked, and was even willing to accept the coupon I had for the Cincinnati area salon. Would definitely go back to her next time we are in the area. Wish I could remember her name.
