Applebee’s

I come here very often on my lunch for happy hour lunch menu, I have never had a uncomfortable experience until today. The bartender Elizabeth had a nasty mood the entire time waiting on us.

Service is alright, they seem to be short staff most of the time, or at least the times i’ve been there. I am very conscious of the cleanliness at restaurants because that says a lot about the place, and every time I’ve been there i’ve seen food on the floor… price is reasonable for their servings

Hmm. If you want a baked potato instead of fries with your meal there is a 1.50 substitution fee. If you want sour cream and cheese and bacon on the potato it will cost another 2.00. If you want butter it will cost another .50 cents. So to summarize, if you substitute a potato for a potato it will cost an additional $ 4.00. Makes no sense to me and it really made me mad! Won’t be back!

Applebee’s. The same experience no matter where you go. And I can vouch personally that the Applebee’s that I ate at in Davis, CA is exactly the same as the one that I just ate at here.
I got the lemon grilled chicken. It was good. My wife got the riblets. We still don’t know what a riblet is. The food was very Applebee’s-like, so don’t come with expectations of Avanti down the street.

Good location, convenient, and our waitress (why cannot I not remember names!) was wonderful! Applebee’s does not have the menu items that Chilly’s does, but it still has a full bar and is a reasonably priced place where one can stop in for a quick drink and a bite to eat. This location is pretty consistent in quality and freshness (can you use that word at a place where most items are frozen, thawed and cooked) of the food. Not sure why they have these goofy devices on the tables where you can spend money to place games, but they do.
I give this location a «Yah! I’m and fan»
When I figure out who our wonderful waitress was, I will post a follow up.

We always sit at the bar and Brooklyn is always our server. It’s cozy, easy atmosphere and doesn’t have the full chain feel, we really enjoy it everytime.

This location was surprisingly very busy for a weekday lunch. I met my wife and realized we were the youngest in the restaurant. I was glad to see that the Horse Racing Channel was on so I decided to place a few bets and won! So lunch was on me and made the food taste much better! The service was excellent and the food was tasty. Our drinks were always topped off and the food was brought out quickly. The lot wasn’t too packed. I’ll be back.

This is by far the worse! We came here to celebrate my nieces graduation. We arrived at 8:20 and only got served at 10:00pm! This is ridiculous ! If I could give less than 1 star I would! And the manager is not enough to come out and say sorry!

Ugh. I’ve never been fond of Applebee’s, so I’m not sure why we came here. But honestly, it’s not the food that’s the worst, it was the price and service.
Our waitress was sweet, but completely clueless, really slow, and unattentive. It took way too long for our food to come out considering we went at an hour that wasn’t busy at all. Food was bleh. It was boring, but it was fine. Wouldn’t ever be my first pick.
I was surprised how expensive it was. They have the 2 for $ 25 deal and that’s nice for people who like having 5 options to choose from. But our 2 meals, 2 drinks and one soda was $ 67!!! Without the tip! We got margaritas (no clue why) and they were tiny and tasteless, yet still $ 12 each. Why…
I feel like an ass for being this critical, and I usually am pretty tolerant of most restaurants considering I usually get the same thing which are the chicken strips or a burger and fries, but this experience was below average. Good for groups and have good deals on some things, though. Just wouldn’t highly recommend.

This place is always an hit or miss with service. The food is always good, and the menu always changing give you constant new flavors. I would recommend not ever sitting at the bar area booths/​tables because this is where the service lacks the most in my opinion.
All in all I would say it’s exactly what you would expect for a major chain restaurant.

Food was really good, the French onion was a little bland, Steffanie R. was really welcoming and her recommendations were great.

We had a great experience last Saturday in the bar area. Thanks Betty for your great personality and the friendly service … We got the 3 item appetizers… Our favorites are the potstickers, nachos and chicken tacos.

Came to this location on our way to San Diego. Nothing special, typical Applebee’s like the rest of them. The food is good, servers were good nothing to complain about.

Came in on a Monday after noon super slow. But tables were dirty. The hostess Definelty was not welcoming I believe her name was Jessica.
So then she seats us and it takes 5 mins to get our drinks.
Overall the food was blehhhh nothing to tasty.
The waiter was friendly but never got our tab. I had to go up and ask for it .
I don’t think I would visit this particular location again.
But give it a try.
I would work on hiring outgoing individuals as hostess as they are the first impression customers get of the place.

I have not been to Applebee’s in over 6 years and forgot how great some of their salads are. Had dinner here with my crazy 3 Aunts and sister. Our waitress Chelsea was awesome! She was so patience, because my Aunts are really crazy! They had some outrageous requests and she did her best to honor them. I usually don’t eat dessert at restaurants but their blondie and apple cheesecake was SOOOOO good. They had awesome deals of 2 for $ 20 or 2 for $ 25 with some delicious entrees on them (even steaks).

This particular Applebee’s location needs help. I had come to this location about a year or so ago because a co-​worker bragged about their late night happy hour. Our bartender, who’s name was Gio or something, was inattentive and complained to us about «being tired.»
I came back recently only because my boyfriend had a giftcard. This time we had a female bartender by the name of Mara who was just as outgoing as the bartender I had the prior year –_​_​–
To sum our experience up:
–Bartender didn’t know how to pour a beer; every beer she poured was about 4oz short.
–My red apple sangria tasted like apple juice with a splash of red wine.
–Food was inconsistent; my salad had plenty of dressing and my boyfriend’s hardly had any at all.
–Food and drinks were expensive for the quality.
Will never come back.

DONT COME HERE FOR FOOTBALL IF YOU DONT LIKE THE CHARGERS.
Quite unhappy with this location during this football season. Took a break from work with my boyfriend and decided to try and catch some of the game on Sunday, chose Applebee’s because the food is relatively good and they have tvs, so naturally we assumed we could watch the game. Upon being seated we asked if we could have our game on a TV and all the people who worked there said that they could not change just one TV because it would change about 5 more. Well I looked around the restaurant and they had at least 10.
They could have changed a few for people who are not chargers fans simply because we live in San Diego. Very upset because that was the ONLY reason we came to Applebee’s. It was the nearest location to watch the game and eat. They were not accommodating at all.
Will not be returning for football season or any other time because of the poor service.

Tracy was a good server as from to finish as she was genuine and friendly. It was nice to catch the basketball game finals as they have TV screens throughout the restaurant. Super full from my order had bourbon black and bleu burger without the blue cheese.

This Applebees is great as soon as I got there they open the doors for me and let me in with open arms I always get the same thing when I go to Applebees and this time it just tasted so much better at this location. Geo was serving behind the bar tonight and he took my drink order right as I was sitting down it took in no time at all the come and help me out.
I ordered a salad and the parmesan garlic shrimp and sirloin. The salad came first and I ate it with a ranch dressing which was delicious and neatly placed on the plate it didn’t look like somebody just threw a bunch of salad on my plate. When I was done with my salad he was quickly to pick up everything and then not long after came out my plate. I like to eat all of my food very very hot because I don’t like mediocre warm or cold food I always send the back but when I was here at Applebees my food came out piping hot and I am NOT going to complain about the food at all. my steak was perfectly done just how I asked for it. I will definitely be returning to this location for more fabulous food.

So so service.
Ok food.
Nothing great.
My waitress did forget my side of mashed potatoes and didn’t bring them out until I reminded her, but by that time I was halfway through my meal so that sucked.
