G by Guess

I usually head straight towards the 50% off sales rack… mainly because I’m always looking for a good bargain! I just wish their clothes fit me better. I usually wear a medium Tee but here I wear a large.
The customer service here is amazing and very helpful.

I like some of the styles the store carries but the return policy is unacceptable to me so I won’t be shopping there anymore. I wasn’t even offered a merchandise credit, I was forced to do an on the spot exchange. Total lose-​lose because I would have been happy with a credit to be used at a future date and I would think it makes good business sense to have a happy customer who you know would have to come back in the future and might have needed additonal clothes. This is in no way a reflection on their employees who are very nice people.

My first time in this store and I was very impressed. Chelsea immediatly offered her assistance and pointed out that they had lots of clothes on sale over 50% off. The prices here are not bad and they have lots to choose from. Lot’s of cool watches and sunglasses. Totally my style but maybe not for everyone. I’ll be back!!!

this store is great in a way because their clothes are fun and always have some kind of bejeweled item on it. they always have a sale section in the back of the store and they have ridiculous amounts of rolling racks where everything is on sale. sometimes they have 50% off their clearance items only and so it makes it worth coming in because you can find something fun.
the only downfall to this store is that when you purchase something on sale, you can’t return it, you can only exchange it for something else or get merchandise credit… one of the stupidest rules i’ve ever heard of.

Really friendly and funny staff. There was a pretty good selection of clothes too. I wish I had gotten the cashier’s name so I could give him a mention in here, but I didn’t. :(He was such a sweetheart! Lauren (I think was her name) was really helpful too. I came in with a friend and there was a skirt she really wanted, but we went to other stores to see if they had anything similar. Express did, but we went back to Guess because they had much better customer service.

2 year later Update: 3 stars: A-​OK (except button ups and blazers)
Now that I’m no longer a raging teen, I have definitely moved on towards a young professional style. I’m also downgrading the rating to 3 stars because the quality of their button ups and blazers is questionable. After a year, my two button ups faded and looked quite worn. The buttons from blazers quite often come undone.
I no longer shop here because I’ve matured as an individual and because of the quality problems on prior said items.

Perhaps more so for guys than women, G by Guess is a one-​stop store to up your style, snazz, and allure. Written by a guy who’s spent $ 500 remodeling his closet with just about only Guess items.
If clothing were to be considered on the political spectrum then the clothes at Guess are the moderate-​liberals. They push the bounds of style and they know exactly how far to push. As such, the uniqueness of the outfits are through their subtle flare. Carefully positioned straps and buckles and faint (though not always), yet seductive embellishments all heighten the freshness and allure of the (male) wearer. Heck, one of the store’s aims is to sell trendy nightclub apparel, and how do people dress for nightclubs? Seductively.
The selection for guys is phenomenal with great long sleeved shirts, vests, blazers, jackets, boots, and accessories. Their graphic tees are usually a tad bit above average but there are always a few that are stellar.
I’m not the most well-​versed with its female merchandise, but judging from what i saw while on my crusade to expand my wardrobe, there were some nice jackets/​whatever you ladies call ‘em. Personally, I prefer the Hollister girls but this is subjective.
The price is moderate and reasonable with tees around $ 20, button-​ups $ 50, denim $ 50, blazers $ 80, coats $ 100, and accessories $ 10-​$ 30.
The customer service is fantastic, especially if you take the time to get to know the employees (or just be friendly). They try to assist you whenever possible though be warned that phone orders take the lowest priority.
Since the splurge, I’ve been getting compliments left and right from both men and ladies. I’ve been called «sharp, stylish, snazzy, ect.» So now go out now and enhance your style!

I’m not quite sure what it is about wearing a watch or bracelet that warms the cockles of my heart. Perhaps it’s the excitement that ensues when engaged in the process of picking out just the right one to wear for just the right occasion. Or, perhaps the thrill I get up my leg when I put on one of those prized beauties out of my growing collection is just another reminder that I have a myriad of crazy-​assed «issues» that I need to deal with. Notwithstanding, I’m of the opinion that most men, on the whole, neglect employing accessories in their wardrobe. And, when they do use them, the manner in which they are executed in conjunction with the clothing is done poorly. It’s unfortunate. Wearing the right watch or bracelet can do wonders for the look you are going for. Guess is one of my go-​to places for such items.
I’ve been a Guess customer for many years. Specifically, what usually piques my interest is that vast selection of stylish accessories that they sport. It’s difficult for me to walk into any Guess store and not buy at least one of their bracelets or watches. Strolling into their newest establishment, G, at North County Fair today was no exception. Immediately saw a bracelet that was beckoning me to grab it off the display. Done. How much you say? Only $ 13. Inexpensive, but made well.
The clothing selection in this particular store is not that extensive. Nevertheless, they do have a beautiful selection of bags (much more stylish and durable than Fossil, imo), watches, necklaces and bracelets that are sure to put a smile on your face.
Pick up a bracelet (if you want to be cool, of course).
