Made an appointment for my mother at 12 pm, Sept 12015. We arrived before 12pm so we can fill in the necessary paperwork. She was called in at 12pm to sit in the dentist’s chair where she was told that the dentist will be with her shortly. After almost 40 minutes of waiting in the dentist’s chair with a bib around her neck, still no dentist. When I asked how much longer we have to wait because I have to go back to work, we heard the dentist said that he is not yet finished with his patient and will be another 15 minutes or she can come back. When I asked what is the point of making an appointment if she has to wait for almost one hour, we were told that there is only one dentist on duty. I told that if they have a situation, we should have been advised as we walked in that there will be a delay with our set appointment so we could have made an informed decision that very moment instead of wasting our time. If this practice does not have any consideration for their patient’s time, I wonder what type of care my mother will receive!!! I was almost tempted to move the dental care of my entire family. Their lost, not ours!

DR Zand is one of the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure to come across. Other dentist told me I need to have root canal, to make more money. But when I was referred to DR Zand after a check up I only had a sensitive tooth. He has been my dentist for the last 8 years and I will never change my dentist again. Thank you DR Zand for keeping my teeth healthy for the last 8 years. I wish there was more. Then 5 stars to give him. Thank you for your honesty and excellent work.

Warning! This review is about this dentist’s billing practice — buyer beware! My husband went to get a regular cleaning, was told that he needed a ‘gross debridement’, in other words ‘deep cleaning’. Dr. Zandkarimi insisted this was not covered by Aetna DMO and he needed to be paid same day. Ok, after paying him, we found out the procedure was covered by insurance and Aetna called him to confirm. Dentist refused to refund the money and said he would rather drop all his 400DMO patients than admit he charged us incorrectly. Needless to say, we changed our assigned dentist quickly. From what we have seen, this dentist was interested in cleaning out our wallet, not teeth.
