Visitors to Estacada beware. The food is not good. It is the cheapest of the cheap and rather expensive. The service is consistently bad and the signage around the place is rude to customers. The beer is fine, there are even a few stand-outs. If you go, consider a sampler tray and then walk somewhere else to eat. I hope someday this place gets better management. It could be such a treasure.

this was the worst possible service I have ever had, the staff went out of the way to be so rude. The prices are fairly high t o have to get your oun water out of a orange sports cooler with no ice. we ordered a pepper jack cheese burger and a blue cheese burger both came with a nasty fake cheddar cheese. I asked if they had a good oregon pino gris. The waiter said I don’t know and stared at me like a jerk, I then asked if I can add pickle to my burger he just snap’s no pickle. Then to have your food come in a plastic basket, Asked for a small plate to share with my daughter the waiter rudely said we do not have plates??? We go to brew pubs all over oregon and have never been treated so badly and had such awful food.

So the beer and the place itself is pretty good… But everything should be drastically improved. The service was below par, the chicken wrap was just alright, ANDTHECHEESETOTSARENOTCHEESETOTS! What they have me was some sort of frozen instant mashed potatoes with easy cheese and deep fried. Also their had two tv’s and neither were on on a Saturday afterNoon. Whoever is managing this place must not want people to come here more than once.

If you go there for Ladies Night on Wednesdays, be aware that the 50 cent pints are only for certain beers. Ask before ordering, because they won’t tell you. It is not posted anywhere in the building. Other than that, they have pretty good burgers and beer. Didn’t try anything else.

Wow. Just wow. I have never in my life had worse service than at this place. Don’t waste your time, unless you literally want to waste you time… Like sitting down at the bar and being completely ignored for a ridiculous amount of time, even though you are literally sitting directly in front of the staff, like they have to actively go out of their way to ignore you. Then waiting a full hour for a «corn and black bean salsa» appetizer; which, I will remind everyone, is 1) some tortilla chips, and 2) canned beans, canned corn, and shitty salad dressing. Freaking ridiculous this place is. I had to buy a book on my Kindle because I had reached the end of the internet waiting for this crap. This place does not deserve to exist. Literally one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to in my life.

If you want good service don’t go here. The staff was more interested in conversation with one another than taking our order. As far as the beer and food… lackluster. high prices for poor service.

I’d love to give this place at least a 4 star review, but… Great service. Friendly. Great beer. Food was okay.(Not a fan of American cheese when asked for cheddar. And please get better buns. Cheapy white buns are nooo good.) I’ll be back for the beer only.

I love the beer. I have for years but this is the second time we’ve been here lately and not felt welcome. The waitress made us feel like she didn’t trust our IDs and brought us our checks halfway through our first beer. We had to ask for more rather than be offered. Then once again our checks were slapped on the table. The owner Ken did stop by and was friendly. The staff and customers(sorry were not local) need a serious attitude adjustment. I guess we will stick to buying our fearless in the store.

I love this place! The food is always fresh and its locally owned and ran by some great people. I love the fact you can talk to the brewer Ken about the different beers. The Scottish Ale is my favorite. Food = Great Service = Fantastic Beer = Wonderful Its worth the drive just for the beer, but stay for the food!

While their beers may be a good local offering I was less than impressed with their burger. It was an overcooked cardboard thin patty of little to no flavor. I feel like I could have had a better offering at McDonald’s for half the price.

Well, what can I say? The owner came over and helped us with our beer order, we tried the sampler so we can try all of the beers they had available. Great beers. We ordered lunch, bacon and blue cheese burger, catfish sandwich with cheese, hot French fries. The food was cooked just right, hot juicy and fresh. The fellow cooking did a great job. The place was clean, prices were good, cold beer & great food. The problem, service was just not at the level you would expect from a place like this. Fearless Brewing Company was recommended by someone we met at Wade House antiques during the vintage flea market. We were told that they were not open, even though the door was unlocked. We waited out side on a bench, looking at Unilocal to see what the rest of you said about this place, we thought maybe we should give them a chance even though it was not rated very good. We would buy their beer if we see it for sale some where else, just will not come back. There are too many other choices to choose from, When they did open no greeting, we finally went in, no greeting nothing, after the waitress was done talking to another waitress, she said sit where ever you like. We waited for a while and if the owner had not come by we were about to leave. There only a couple of other people in the dining room, the rest of the meal went the same way, little or no interaction, we even had to wave her down to ask for another round of beers. Tidbit of information for the server– Your tip is based on a percentage of the bill, if you ask all of your customers«would you like anything else» or «can I get you another one of those» you tip gets bigger. The restaurant makes more money, you make more money and the customer a better experience when you give good service.

Went here yesterday after a long but fun day rafting on the Clackamas river. We were hoping for some good bar food, good beer, and an inviting atmosphere. The experience at Fearless Brewing Company was so bad it was actually funny. Now I wasn’t aware that Estacada had a big problem with people roaming the streets looking for a bathroom, but the owner apparently believes this is the case. If you’ve been in the car holding your bladder for a while, be prepared to hold it some more, because, as the inviting sign on the front door states, «restrooms are for customers who have placed an order.» Oh yeah, and they want to charge you $ 10.00 for using the toilet without ordering first. WTF. You can guess where this is going. The service is terrible, and the owner is a crabby woman with a sign-making fetish. After a good 20 minutes, someone finally came to our table to tell us that someone ELSE would come over to our table to take our order soon. Keep in mind that this place was not what anyone would call busy, what with some guys sitting at the bar and two other tables occupied by customers. Eventually, someone came over to take our order. I ordered the cheeseburger, and my husband ordered the wrap and asked for extra sour crew. Our friend chose the bratwurst that comes with pretzels, and my sister got a quesadilla. The food is where things really got bad. My «Cheese» burger was the equivalent of a McDonald“s hamburger– the bun was the kind of soft, cheap bun that immediately flattens into a smashed mess when you pick it up to take a bite. The so-called«cheese» that I paid a dollar to add to my burger, was a cheese-like substance commonly known as a kraft singles. The meat was very«well done» which I guess was good because it is probably the cheapest pre-formed hamburger product that any restaurant could buy, so I should probably thank them for at least keeping me from acquiring e-coli at their establishment. My husband had asked for extra sour cream with his wrap. Wait for it… He received a condiment cup with about a teaspoon of sour cream in it, while my sister’s cup was completely full of sour cream. Whoever was doling out the sour cream was being passive-agressive toward people who ask for extra, or something. Not surprisingly, the had the nerve to charge us for the 2 sour creams he used, even though one had barely anything in it. I know that restaurants have to make money, but this place seems to be trying to make a buck by serving the cheapest crap possible. We didn’t eat more than three of our«cheddar tots» because they were so god-awful. This is a bar, and I know bar food isn’t gourmet, but it really seems like they went to Winco foods and bought the biggest, cheapest, bags of frozen potato-like substance and dumped them into a pan and fried the shit out of them. I could go on about the rest of our meal, but I think you get the picture. If you choose to spend your money here, you might want to think of it as your contribution to the town of Estacada. At least with McDonald’s, you know what you’re getting, and the staff will at least pretend to be friendly– oh, and you can use their restroom without being shamed first.

Let me pile on with another negative review. After volunteering for five hours a the Estacda summer festival, right outside Fearless brewery, we entered & sat at the bar to get beer and maybe some food. Not so fast. We sat down. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands as I had paint on my hands, etc. from the volunteer activity. I wanted to wash my hands before I got any paint on the bar, stool, etc. believe this was the beginning of the end of our Fearless experience. The owner refused to serve us. Other customers walked in after us — one of them pointed out to the owner that we were there before him — and she waited on him anyway. And the other customers who came in after us. The owner instructed a member the wait staff to get our order — finally! And then SHE graced us with her presence, brought our change, slammed it on the bar and said«here you go.» And of course no «thank-you» or «is everything good?» Jeez lady — maybe you should get out of service business and get a desk job where you don’t have to deal with the public. Husband reports the beer was bad — little flavor in his IPA — so not going there was no loss to us. It might be a loss to her, as the kayak tours we lead each week at Estacada lake — just down the hill from Fearless Brewery — give us plenty of opportunity to interact with customers looking for a local place to taste beer and dine. We wiil ensure our recommendations DON’T include fearless. Have no fear!

This was my third time here in as many years and I have watched service and food quality drop. They have a self serve water Gott box but I forgot. So when I asked the waitress for water she said, «it’s over there,» and she pointed. WTF, just get me some damn water… then tell me about your weird water station custom. Anyway… not even a COSTO quality frozen hamburger or chicken breast sandwiches and I am not sure of the cheese in the cheese tater tots. Oh, most of the service staff there was rude except for a young Asian girl.

So after a quick motorcycle ride out to Ripplebrook Ranger station my wife caught a glimpse of the Fearless Brewery sign on the way back to town. After a few punches to my ribs to get my attention we found the place right off the highway and stopped in. The interior looked very comfortable and inviting. You can sit at the bar or at a table or even a comfy highback chair. Anna came over right away and welcomed us. I don’t drink alcohol when on the bike but my wife was eager to try the sampler. Anna brought out the samples in 4 generously sized glasses. I’m guessing 5 to 6 oz. One included a Peach Cream Ale. Ok my wife forced me to taste the Cream Ale and it was delicious. I did a taste of their IPA and was impressed as well. We took home 4 cans of their IPA amd Loki Red Ale. Growlers are available as well. Anna was great and told my wife that they have LADIESNIGHTS on Wednesdays and all pints are 25CENTS. We will be back. CHEERS!

I recently stopped into Fearless after a 16 mile backpacking trip. I have been here a few times before, and have always been underwhelmed by the experience. However, this is one of the few places to get a good beer between miles of backcountry and Portland, so it’s a good place to stop. My hiking partner and I were ravenous, and decided we’d give the joint another go. Once again, I ended up leaving and swearing I won’t likely return ever again. The beer is actually really good, however they have two different price points and the beers I like to drink are more expensive and not included in the happy hour menu. We both ordered burgers. It’s $ 2.00 additional to get fries or another side, which I find really annoying. So now I’m paying $ 11 plus dollars for a mediocre burger and fries? Great. The service here is lackadaisical at best. Serve yourself water, which is fine, but the attitude delivered with the message was quite unnecessary. It was early dinner time, and the place was empty. The waitress couldn’t even remember which of us ordered what, and did not come back to check on us and I had to go to the counter to get our bill and pay the tab. Why bother having table service if you’re not going to do it well? Finally, the thing that really gets to me about this place is the negative signage everywhere telling you what not to do. «Don’t touch this,» «Don’t even try to use a card for under $ 5,» and on the front door, «Restrooms are for customers only. You may only use the restroom AFTER you have placed your order.» WTF? If I’m a paying customer why the hell does it matter if I use the bathroom before or after I put in over $ 50 in food and drink orders? I know this is right off the Clack and the backcountry, and they probably get a lot of drunk and dirty riff raff in here, but come on! That sign being the first thing I see makes me want to turn around and find somewhere else to spend my money. After spending two days in the back country, usually any hot meal tastes fantastic. Upon leaving I realized that I didn’t remotely enjoy the taste of my burger and fries. Unfortunately I was left with gut rot and wished our stomachs could have held out until we got back to PDX.
