This is my favorite hiking store in Estes Park!
I bought two camelbak water bottles and a Loki coat, which I love! The people here are always friendly and nice. I especially appreciated the salesperson’s help when I bought my coat. She came out and showed me the specific features and helped me decide on the one that was best for me.

I bought a camelback waterbottle from here. I really liked their selection.
The people at the counter (Denny and his wife) were incredibly friendly and warm. My brother got to talking to them about hiking Longs Peak. Denny and his wife told several stories about the climb and we had a nice convo for a while. He mentioned that they had several t-​shirts (some for 7 $) in the back. He was really helpful and showed my brother everything they had. On several occations Denny traveled downstairs to find sizes and he always had a smile on his face.
They were very nice people who clearly enjoyed their job, and I left the shop feeling a little happier. :)

It’s all about hiking here. Got my kid a great t-​shirt with a mountain photo and the words «Life is great when you are sitting on top of the world». Prices are less than other outdoor gear shops for t-​shirts by about $ 5.00.
When I was in last week, they had sugar coated almonds at the front counter to munch on and purchase. A nice snack when you are in the mountains.
You will not find the expertise regarding hikes or equipment here, or at least, I did not. Just very nice people selling you the goods.
