Had the turkey burger and it was amazing! Great mom and pop spot for lunch. Reasonably priced. Check it out.

Great mom & pop place for lunch. My husband is a Va native and raved about this place. Stopped here for lunch, he ordered the pork chop dinner with green beans and fries as sides and I had the catfish dinner with onion rings and collard greens. Everything was so good. It was a decent price for a good meal and both left with leftovers. Thumbs up!

After listening to a friend sing their praises for weeks, I had high expectations for Ettrick Deli. I expected to enjoy delicious food for a reasonable price and experience great customer service. Ettrick Deli exceeded my expectations. Ettrick Deli offers plenty of food options; all of which are very tempting and seem to be classic American food (burgers, fries, and wings). I ended up getting a lunch special which consisted of a turkey burger, fries, and a drink. My burger definitely ranked within the top five of the best burgers I have EVER had. The fries were tasty as well and they were just the right portion. The staff at Ettrick Deli were very friendly; especially, the cashier. I was able to quickly order and get my food way before my lunch hour ended. Overall, it was a great experience. Now, after my positive experience at Ettrick Deli, I too have found myself singing their praises.

My husband comes here quite often and he decided to share this gem with me. I saw a pulled pork sandwich so of course I couldn’t say no! They sauce was tangy and the meat moist, so I didn’t need to ask them for extra sauce. I had the coleslaw, which just right. My husband went for the turkey burger. I was shocked because he never has a burger out of anything other than beef. When he said «trust me,» I knew it must be good. And boy oh boy, he was right. I almost wanted to trade him. But come on, me trade away pulled pork? Not that day. Both of our dishes came with fries and a drink, which meant I got to have all the sweet tea I wanted! I understood why he keeps coming back, and hopefully I get to too. The lady at the customer was really nice, which is just an added bonus to a good meal!

I love the Ettrick Deli, try their signature sandwich,” The Bull”. If you ask nicely they will even make it a triple for you, which makes it all the better. This place I believe is family owned, no franchises which I also loved when trying out local diners. This place is also a hit with the VSU students. Give them a try, you will NOT be disappointed!

The variety of food is great. Southern style and great sandwiches too. Staff was very cordial. Small and known well by locals. A hidden secret in Ettrick. Downside is limited dining area and no public restroom.

Family run lunch spot that offers good food at a fair price. Went there today and it was packed with people on their lunch breaks. Got the gyro special for $ 7.99. It gyro was very good and filing It had fresh pita bread, well cooked and spiced meat and fresh shredded lettuce and cooked onions, and the yogurt based sauce was done right. It also cane with an order of fries. I highly suggest if you are in the Etrick area that you give them a try.
