I order the Cajun Fried Shrimp for lunch with sautéed vegetables. This is my 2nd time ordering this and I Love it! Dave ordered the fried Oysters with sautéed Veggies, the oysters were to tough

I had soup sampler and it was great. We liked the red beans and rice and the gumbo because they we lighter and had a fresh flavor. Perfect with the tossed salad included. Portions were more than we could eat. Service was nice. Would definitely return.

Food is super great. We ordered the blackened shrimp and twice baked potato and loved it. Unfortunately there was a small quantity compared to price.

We went on a Sunday afternoon around 4:30. Not too crowded, but getting busier as we left. It’s in an old building.(VERY old!!) on a corner in Downtown Eufaula. The décor is very New Orleans, with a cool mural on the wall. We ordered the appetizer sampler and soup sampler. The étouffée was amazing! They also give you some to-die-for bread, so don’t order too much(we did.) be sure to check out the old hallways where the restrooms are. The service was very nice and helpful. Outside seating available. A little pricey, so keep this in mind. But delicious! Especially if you like spicy food.

Stopped in here on the way to the beach. Service was slow and food was very bland. Not much Cajun kick at all. We had the Northshore Pasta. I would not recommend this dish. Maybe stick to hamburgers, sandwiches and PoBoys. Would definitely not consider this«Cajun». Waitress was absent and service was horrible. At one point the waitress said«I know I sat you but quite honestly I forgot all about you.» Room is small… it’s not hard to notice that two customers had been sitting at a table for almost ten minutes with no drinks. Would not recommend this place.

Great food and service. The prime rib sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. My husband and I always make a point to stop here on our way to Panama Beach. Oh, the desserts are wonderful too :)

Pretty good food but service is pretty terrible. Cooks(not in great attire) coming in and out of the kitchen randomly. If they would just enforce some«nice» restaurant standards, it would truly enhance the place.

The atmosphere and service were great, the food was just ok. For an appetizer we ordered the stuffed mushrooms, which were very good and the sauce that came with it was delicious. This was probably the favorite part of our meal. I ordered the prime rib po’boy and twice baked potato, my husband ordered the grouper with a side of red beans and rice. The prime rib was a little over done causing it to be dry and the ends were complete gristle. The twice baked potato was very good though, I was glad I ordered a side of au jus. My husbands grouper was very good, but was overpowered by the cream sauce it was covered in, his red beans and rice were average. We then got a slice of peanut butter pie and a slice of crème brûlée cheesecake. The peanut butter pie is crazy rich and we weren’t able to finish it, but has a very good peanut butter flavor. The cheesecake was disappointing, what I thought was going to be a brûlée top was more of a cold caramel flan type texture and flavor and the crust was flavorless, it was nice that it had a vanilla bean cheesecake base but other than that it was disappointing.

My new favorite place to eat. Great service and outstanding food. Something for everyone on the menu but I chose the Rajun Cajun burger and it was the best burger I have ever had. We live 90 miles away but are already thinking about going back.

Our group ordered $ 109 dollars worth of food for lunch; so we had a little of everything. Every dish would have lubed my suburban. Very, very greasy. I like southern cooking, but this was something else. It was like the school cafeteria meets jiffy lube.

Stopped in on way back from beach with wife and kids. We stood at cashier stand waiting to be seated. The place was 50% full. The hostess didn’t acknowledge us, neither did any of the 3 waitresses that walked right past us. This went on for 6 – 7 minutes until my wife requested that we just leave. Worthless.

There aren’t many restaurants in Eufaula and we had a hard time finding one that didn’t feel like a bar atmosphere. We needed to find something with healthier foods for me, but that didn’t cost too much. We have a very picky eater(9 yrs old) which is always an issue, too. All of us were very pleased with our meal and our server was amazing. I had red beans & rice, grilled chicken tenders, and a bake potato. I have never had red beans that tasted so good! The chicken was so juicy! My picky eater had chicken tenders and fries and ate it all. My husband had the seafood pasta and said everything was cooked perfectly! This will be a repeat stop for us if we are in Eufaula again!

I am Cajun by blood and relocated due to active duty status in the army. I am very critical when it comes to Cajun food. This place was no disappointment. I had the étouffée and shrimp po boy. Both were on point I only wish the po boy was bigger traditionally the sandwich is huge but at this place it was a bit small. With that being said I still give this place 5 stars and can’t wait to go back. They have the Tabasco on the table just like Grandma

Nice, casual atmosphere with excellent food. Had the gumbo and blackened grouper. Had to get me two cups of gumbo as it was just that good. Also sampled the étouffée which was tastey as well.

Fried green tomatoes are very good. Service was nice. Very laid back atmosphere Not the cleanest looking place though. We weren’t scared off by the level of cleanliness but the cook looked very greasy and the bathrooms were a little sketch. Average dine in prices. We decided to split the ragin Cajun(MASSIVE burger). Just so so. Maybe seafood is more their thing it being a Cajun place.

This place was great ! The prices on Unilocal should be listed as $$ rather than $ but it’s reasonable and the portions are generous. We had gumbo and salads with bread pudding for dessert. All the food was excellent and service friendly and speedy. The building is very old and right on the corner of downtown Eufaula. The décor is Cajun and festive. Check this one out and you won’t be disappointed !

Étufee, gumbo, crawfish sandwich, roast beef au jus For a girl who’s from the north(Chicago) who’s dating a guy from Baton Rouge — let’s just say cats and dogs are sleeping together whenever we go out and try a new place to eat. I’m new to the cajun flavor of things and decided to take a walk on the wild side with him — and i am so HAPPY I DID. This is a delcious delightful small café that packs a whole bunch of flavor and southern hospitality. To start off, I got the crawfish etufee bowl(should have been enough for a normal person’s meal) and my boyfriend got the gumbo. I can say whole heartedly that the etufee was one of the best soup concoctions i’ve ever eaten in my life! It was so flavorful, smooth and perfectly seaoned, you will not be disappointed if you order this! Guarentee it! My BF loved his gumbo just the same but i couldn’t pick my face up from the little bits of crawfish and roué. For the actual meal(lunch) we ordered the crawfish poboy and roast beef au jus sandwich. Once again, both perfectly seasoned proportioned and crunchy. I ordered the crawfish grilled and was very pleasantly surprised at the flavor and juicyness. Finally for dessert, after unbuttoning our jeans, ordered the peanut butter pie slice. YUM! What a perfect way to top off an amazing late lunch — did i mention they so nicely put on the LSU game for us and we were able to watch it as well? Sweet wonderful customer service and a great menu. Loved every second of it.

Stopped here on a road trip to Panama City and was excited to try true Southern food and for the first time, fried green tomatoes. Also ordered a shrimp po’ boy. The po’ boy was tasty but felt a bit like nothing more than a hoagie… did I miss something? The fried green tomatoes were very tasty but heavily fried and breaded… must be true Southern food! Good but heavy going down. The big hit though was the bread pudding… recommended by our very friendly waitress, that was the true show stopper and was delicious. Seemed like a great mix of locals in here too. We were debating going here or the Mexican place down the street and I’m glad we came here… quaint, cozy little place that was oozing Southern culture.
