Great quality burrito at a cheap price. Much rather go here than taco bell. I’m convinced that no food truck pays taxes but at least we see some $$ savings when we buy. ;-)

One of the best Mexican carts in town. Mayra is very friendly and easy to work with. I love going there, I always get the best service!

They’re nice and all, but what’s with all the gushing about Burrito Girl? The food here is gross. Nachos«Supreme»: Stale, round Carmen’s chips covered in — not cheese — but nacho cheeze sauce. No autentico! Seriously, if I wanted this, I’d just order my lunch at 7⁄11. Lots of other stuff too, including meat. I couldn’t figure out if it was ground beef, carne asada or scrambled goat. I asked hubby: «What kind of meat did you order?» «I dunno, it just came with this.» Had to fish disgusting bits of it out of my mouth three times. No es bueno! Pupusas: Small, filled with thin disks of, not quite ground beef, more like creamed beef. Incredibly salty — and that’s saying something coming from me. Served with an herbed but bland slaw of red cabbage, red onion and carrots. I’m sorry to be so harsh — I love food carts. But you can’t sell me a plate of Cheeze Whiz crap for $ 7 and pass it off for Mexican food.

Mmm tasty burritos! Yet the most random location ever. We found groupons for the food cart and we had been wanting to go try it out. We pretty much drove past it almost twice until a random«BURRITOGIRL» sign magically appeared with sunburst shone in the back. I don’t know why but I thought the«super» burrito was gonna be a little more«suped up». It was still pretty large though, I think it’s just the fat kid in me. Clearly my stomach said otherwise. If you’re wondering where it is located exactly, just find this car autoshop thing in a small lot, it’s basically right there.

Address is listed wrong. They are at 3820 W. 11th across from Taco Time. We went on a Groupon and that was a real bargain. Good way to check out new eaterys. We each had a burrito and it was as good as it gets. Will definitely be back. Handy spot if you need your Transmission checked while you wait.

The papusas are unusual and really tasty. They are handmade thick corn tortillas, with pork and cheese mixed in with the mesa before frying. $ 5 will get you two of them with hot sauce and sour cream and a side of a sauerkraut-esque thing called curtido. The plate doesn’t look like a ton of food when you get it, but it is filling and satisfying. The only complaint I have is that it said«horchata» on the cart but they didn’t actually have any. Bummer! That doesn’t make the food any less delicious though.

I finally went to try out Burrito Girl for the first time today. After I moved out of Eugene, I was regretting that I had never gone. Turns out my hunch was right. The pork burrito was really flavorful. The Register-Guard’s review of this place was right on about the pupusas as well(fried stuffed tortillas of deliciousness) Hours seem to be 11am-4pm.

I had seen the truck a few times and been meaning to give this place a try, as they advertise pupusas(El Salvador’s version of the tortilla, only thicker and often stuffed with cheese or meat) for sale. If you have never tried one, this is the place to have your 1st! We just got back from lunch and boy was it worth it. The menu is basic and includes tacos($ 1.75), burritos($ 5.50), pupusas($ 5 for 2 includes pickled cabbage). Their meat choices include pork, carne asada, and chicken. We all ordered the pupusa plate. You can choose to have cheese, pork, or a mix of both in the pupusa. It was about a 10 minute wait, as we watched her cook up the 6 pupusas we ordered. When the food was ready, we were blown away at the quality. They were steaming hot, as the food had just come off the grill. The meat and cheese was great and blended great with the grilled corn tortilla. Cash only. They are open M-F 11 – 5 and Sat 10 – 4. There is only 1 table with 4 chairs if you are planning to eat there. Below is a recent RG article about Burrito Girl:
