I’ve had fear-​mongering dentists and flashy in-​your-​face dentists over the years, and was so pleased to find that Dr. Dexter is neither. His calm, genuine demeanor is reassuring and soothing, and I appreciated that he spent a good amount of time talking through each step of my dental issues. He also gave me the low-​down on treatment and fluoride during pregnancy, and explained why his advice was different than the general OB guidelines — again, I felt respected and cared for. The hygienist and receptionist are also lovely. So glad that I chose Dr. Dexter!

OK, I admit it. I am a chicken when it comes to dentists, and hadn’t been to one in like 5 years before I visited Dr Dexter. A friend of mine had recommended him, but still I was hesitant so went on for a free «get to know you» appointment”. He passed my test, and I have been going to him for 3 years since. While he is not the cheapest, I find him to be patient, gentle, kind and compassionate. He tends to be conservative in his work, taking a less aggressive approach than some others might, which I appreciate. I never feel pressured, and I feel like he tries to explain all my options so I can make an informed decision before taking action.
The other cool thing about this dentist is his office. He has tried to give it a comfortable «green» feel. Cork floors, nice art on the walls that changes, interesting magazines, water and a phone.
I have recommended him to my friends.

I have had so many bad experiences with dentists I never thought I would seek one out again… When the pain in my mouth got unbearable though, I had to seek out a dentist, my biggest fear, needles in my mouth, drilling, pain, carelessness.
I no longer feel any anxiety seeing a dentist. Dr. Dexter talked me through everything, he was so nice, he explained stuff, there was no pain. I would highly recommend this guy to anyone. He’s amazing! I am now looking foreword to getting the rest of my teeth fixed, cleaned, and chatting with this super awesome dentist (and his nice assistant).

A caring, thorough going dentist who fully explains what he is doing and why. Doesn’t recommend stuff just to recommend it and make money – recommends only what is really necessary and also based on your preferences for the level of care you want.
First class office staff – the whole visit is as pleasant as it can be at a dentist’s office.
Highly recommended.

My wife went to him repeatedly with severe dental pain. He told her it was female hysteria. After most of a year of infections, another dentist pulled out the tooth, which was rotted all the way through and full of pus.
