When developers decided to take on this previously downtrodden part of Kinsrow(now Commons Road), it didn’t seem like the best business decision since it was close to all of the crack dealing homes in a relatively remote area of the Eugene /Springfield Border. Now that they’ve done extensive landscaping, construction, and renovation of the nearby roads, it has become its own isolated section, practically independent of all of the rest of Kinsrow. But one of the keys to instant student housing popularity relies in cheap rent, something this place definitely has down. Among the things that come with the cheap rent is the shoddy construction and overall cheap feel of the apartments. They’re not that spacious, despite having as much as 4 bedrooms in some apartments. At least the parking is spacious and this used to be a great place to park the car during Duck Football games, but alas, they’ve cracked down big time.
