Alright, so, this is no longer Jaguars. It is now Cabaret East, apart of the Rick’s franchise. I hear it’s actually a lot better than it was as Jaguars, but I have no idea. This is the first strip club I’ve ever gone to, and like most girls walking into the seedy underbelly of male perversion, I was suspicious. Fortunately, I had a great time! There were only a few girls that caught my eye, but they were all extremely nice. I was expecting some awkwardness, but not at all. I’d heard stories about strippers treating female patrons(matrons?) with contempt, but I was treated very nicely. They grabbed my boobs and I grabbed back. And holy crap, they all smelled so nice(vanilla and strawberry being the fragrances du jour, I guess). It was… awesome. I got an awesome dance from a very good looking one and I got some good conversation out of a few ladies. I guess they were comfortable with me, because they had no problems spilling how they really felt about their jobs, their customers, their insecurities, and how much money they made. Intimate in a weird way. There were a few girls doing awesome pole tricks, but for the most part, there was a lot of half-hearted swaying to some odd music choices. Why would you want to get naked to Nirvana? I don’t understand. Anyway, the drinks were kind of expensive the first time at about $ 5 a beer or something like that. Plus, there’s that ridiculous $ 100 hold on opening a tab. The cover was only $ 6 and the lap dances are $ 20. I got free passes, so the next time I went, cover was free and it was a Wednesday, so they had a deal going for $ 1.75 beers. $ 1.75 for a Shiner? I’m down. The girls weren’t as good, but alas. You can’t have it all. At least, I don’t think you can.
