Some of the best Mexican I’ve had. Loved the salsa platter and totally unique menu. Highly recommend.

Pollo Rojas was excellent! Had free chips and salsa, all made from scratch, while waiting. Waitress and chef both were awesome and attentive! Also played great classical and flamenco guitar music, even heard Steve Howe’s The Clap from Yes’ Fragile album.

My husband an I alway love to try new Latin American food. We stopped in on a Sunday night and enjoyed everything. The walls were decorated with beautiful art and all the food was very good! Sunday dinner, chalupa night, was full of flavor! Had the chocolate caramel walnut pie for dessert and it was yummy as well!

We technically didn’t eat here, but we stopped by for some of their famous Jalapeño Pie to-go! We were on vacation & staying in a cabin on Beaver Lake, & we wanted something fun to eat there. The woman who helped us was so kind & patient while we decided how many Jalapeño Pies to get, & when we decided we needed some homemade chips as well after she had already run our card. We microwaved the Jalapeño Pies for 2 minutes & then baked them for about 5 more minutes, & they were DIVINE. Cheesy, spicy, melty goodness. Seriously, just a perfect indulgence. & the chips were SO good, & perfect with some homeemade guac. I cannot wait to visit Eureka Springs again and eat at Caribe for real!

The attention to detail in the flavor of the dishes is amazing. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. The price is highly reasonable for this quality of food. Try the salsas. The bright colorful art is also a nice touch. I highly recommend.

This place is amazing! Great food, small place so get early. We had the salsa tray and it was very good.

Definitely not your standard Mexican fare – locally-raised foods blend well with a vibrant backdrop. The waters came out with fresh, home-grown mint(which you can find in the garden outside of the restaurant). Every aspect of the meal was memorable and bore no comparison to anything else we’ve ever experienced.

I came to Eureka with my wife for a weekend getaway. It was around 1:30 when we arrived and we were starving and decided to stop in at the vividly decorated Caribé. I had the Pollo Mole which was delicious, the chicken was tender and the mole was top notch. It also came with a garden salad with fresh vegetables that were locally grown, with a dill dressing. My wife had the Azteca Corn Soup with the Caribé salad. And she was just as pleased as I was with her meal. I would recommend Caribé to everyone who comes to Eureka.

Pretty much everything on the menu is over $ 10. The average being about $ 15. Which seemed a bit high since I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary on the menu. I ordered just the burrito which was $ 10. Definitely not worth the money. Kinda tasted like a frozen burrito that they microwaved. Small as well not much bigger than one from Taco Bell. There was fresh lettuce on the side that tasted as if it were fresh from the garden. The décor was eclectic, and the staff was nice. Seemed to be like most restaurants around the area. Highly priced for mediocre food. There are only a handful of places that don’t have tourist prices here, and take pride in their dishes.

Wasn’t sure about the place when I first walked in. Upon reviewing the menu and learning that most of what they serve is local, I was cautiously optimistic. Server was great and knew the menu. I decided upon the lamb. My companion decided on the beef nachos as she can’t abide the thought of eating fluffy white tasty critters. It was pretty freaking incredible. I wasn’t overly thrilled with the side of coleslaw, but I don’t like coleslaw anyway. Nachos were tasty and the cheese enchilada that my 2 year old passed up was good enough to ease the shame of eating off a child’s plate. We split the chocolate cheesecake and nearly had a knife fight over the remnants of the crust. I being the superior blade fighter won this battle and was treated with appropriate fanfare as befits a champion. All in all I would totally eat here again.

Tied for the best place in Eureka Springs with Local Flavor. The jalapeño pie for an appetizer was excellent and not too spicy. The dishes were phenomenal. I had the mariscos enchiladas and my wife had the pollo mole. We could tell that there was a lot of effort that went in to the flavors and subtleties of the dishes.

We were a little nervous going here with all the reviews but the locals gave it a good review so we decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. Ariel, our server, was very pleasant and helpful while we were deciding what to order. On her recommendation, I ordered the Pollo Mole which was fantastic! The owner came by to check on us and we had a very nice conversation. We could hear the conversations going on in the kitchen and it seemed like the owner is a very straight and to the point person who knows how she wants her restaurant run. I didn’t detect any hostility in her voice when dealing with the staff. She has it going on with her recipes. We were impressed that she uses local produce and the salad that we had was actually lettuce delivered from a local grower while we were dining! All in all we had a very good experience and would definitely stop by again.

The BEST homemade chips and salsa! I had the pork tenderloin– tender with a subtle smoke flavor. Others in my party had the pollo asado, tender and Smokey, and the vegetarian mole. All thumbs up! If you enjoy sophisticated flavors this is the place for you!

This was our second visit, and both tines have been excellent! This weekend they were participating in a wine/food weekend and pairing a local vineyards products with several different dishes. I had the duck and my wife had shrimp scampi. Both were very well prepared and flavorful! Love that so much of this food is locally sourced, and that I was introduced to an excellent local winery as well! Give this place a try when you are in town and you won’t be disappointed!

Horrible experience. Beware! They apparently close at 2:30 till 5, but have the OPEN sign lit up and another along the road that says 12 – 9. We tried to eat there at 2:32 on Friday afternoon. We were never greeted and after we sat down a waitress came by and we were told they were closed till 5 for dinner. Not the best business practices. If you are going to be closed, be closed.
