Not worth the price. The lady that runs the place is incredibly rude!!! Upon arrival we asked if they had a student discount and her response was«yea for groups of ten or more. There isn’t much to discount to get anyways it’s only $ 5.» As we were leaving my mom had trouble opening the front door since it was an old latch and the woman yelled at my mother how to open the door. The history was nothing special and neither were the objects. All the stuff found there could be found in the dozens of antique shops surrounding the area. Save your money.

The museum is interesting but could benefit from better organization and displays. It struck me as kind of boring for the rich history of Eureka Springs. The layout is not that great. There was not that much to see, either. Displays go over some things you can find out in a book, there is very little of a collection of neat historical items, and the upstairs is full of artwork of scenes of the Ozarks. I can see scenes of the Ozarks by looking out of any window. Not impressed. There could be so much more to this place!

I enjoyed my visit to this little museum and found the collection well worth the $ 5 donation. This quaint little alpine village has a lot of history. I have posted a number of photos.

A quaint little museum sharing the history of Eureka Springs and some of the goings on they’ve had over the years. They have a bit of everything, from dolls and clothes to pictures and old machinery. There’s not a lot to see when compared to a «actual» museum, but for $ 5 and air conditioning its totally worth the money.
