Don’t let their recent name change confuse you and keep you from trying this delicious place since they’re now called The Filling Station because it’s completely worth a visit. I got the breakfast/lunch buffet(only $ 7.99) which included fried chicken, eggs, quiche, 2 types of sausage, ribs, potatoes, biscuits, a salad bar, and much more. It was lovely! My boyfriend ordered the French toast which included 6 triangles of yummy, gooey sweetness and was only $ 6.99! We highly recommend a visit :)

This is important information. This place has moved and is now called The Filling Station! Close to the original. One pancake will feed you. I got the biscuits and gravy with a scrambled egg and bacon. Meets expectations as a southern breakfast. The price is steep but I haven’t yet got an alternative to recommend.

Good enough, but not as good as a Mississippi breakfast. I had the Early Riser with two eggs, toast and hash browns. No butter or ketchup on the table and the rave reviews about the hash browns didn’t meet the mark. BF had the Dixie Breakfast with biscuits and gravy(no sausage in the gravy), grits with no flavor or butter and little sausage links that were nothing great and scrambled eggs with no flavor as well. Super friendly service, but not where I’d choose for breakfast again.

When we entered the door, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner. We ate the buffet for breakfast. The scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon were good. My favorite on the buffet was the pancakes. They were great! Our waiter was very attentive. If you are looking for a down-home, low key atmosphere this would be a great place. We will definitely come back here when we visit again!

This. Place. Is. Amazing. I have never had better hash browns in my life! The breakfast buffet is «dang good»(my fathers words), and the for-order menu is as creative as it is tasty. I had the French toast sandwich, which was fun and delicious. I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to a friend-or anyone who would listen. I initially forgot to add that the wait staff were nice, our waitress(I forget her name, dangitt) was very friendly and helpful, as were all the kids bussing tables around us.

This was a solid breakfast spot, but I wanted to like it more than I actually did. It’s in a really unique town, and our service was great, but the food was nothing out of the ordinary. D had an English muffin breakfast sandwich, and I had pancakes. The menu was pretty standard, but the coffee was good. If we ever happen to be in the area again, we wouldn’t mind stopping back for a quick bite.

The reviews seem hit-or-miss, and I suppose that’s because everyone has different tastes. We came here expecting diner quality food, and we were pleasantly surprised to find it better than that. Admittedly, it’s primarily because of the bacon. Buffet bacon doesn’t usually turn out so well, but here it is «oh my gosh it’s so good I have to eat more!» kind of good. Service was friendly all around, from the host to the waitress to the busboys taking our plates so we could go get more bacon. The buffet had mini banana muffins, butter, fruit, salsa, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, oatmeal, biscuit gravy, biscuits, white biscuit gravy, syrup and pancakes(in that order, if I remember right). The black coffee was delicious. While I was typing this, I jumped up to pay while the line dipped down. Someone in the restaurant paid for our whole meal! What a sweet, unexpected act of kindness! I was flabbergasted, but my wife had the idea to pay for someone else in the restaurant. What a happy way to start our day.

Food was just okay, nothing special. Staff wasn’t as friendly as you would expect for a family owned restaurant. Especially the hostess.

Diner-like atmosphere, limited food selection on their breakfast buffet, and food quality was marginal. Given the limited quality and selection, the cost for breakfast was high

Service was very friendly! Breakfast buffet unfortunately wasn’t very good… bacon & sausage were good, but fruit is canned… oatmeal has absolutely no flavor… we had to ask for some brown sugar to make our edible(no biggy) biscuits & gravy were very bland… i think the fried potatoes were sliced canned potatoes fried up… not very good… other reviews enjoyed ordering off the menu… I’d suggest that

If you’re looking for fancy food with sprigs of useless parsley, this is not your place. If you’re looking for good, basic home cooked food, you’ve come to the right place. We had the French toast, waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties and hash browns(which my aunt said were perfectly cooked). I’d give the food a strong 3 to 3 ½ stars. They get an additional star for the interesting décor, and the really friendly and nice service. Also, a big plus for breakfast all day.

Plenty of good quality food and helpful, friendly staff. Coffee could have been slightly better but was passable. Great buffet featuring fluffy, delicious scrambled eggs, properly cooked bacon, delicious link sausages, proper grits, etc. Nice country ambiance, not pretentious.

Every time my husband and I visit in Eureaka we make it a point to stop in here for their breakfast buffet. I’ve definitely had better breakfst food, but for the price and simple fact it’s all you can eat… you can’t go wrong! They have everything on buffet from pancakes to biscuits and gravy, I love the country potatoes! They also have a regular menu if you don’t want to do buffet style.

This place is a better than average breakfast joint. My breakfast buddy had the buffet and I ordered the Indian Corn Pancake platter from the menu. The breakfast buffet was pretty much run-of-the-mill. Unfortunately, the fruit on the buffet was canned fruit, not fresh. The biscuits and gravy were very bland. Everything else was as you would expect. The corn pancake breakfast I ordered was definitely a better choice than the buffet, I think. The pancakes are kind of pumpkin-orange because they contain allspice, a spice used in pumpkin pie. Our server, who was a very perky lady who said she plans to live to 105 then disappear, suggested putting apple butter on the pancakes, and she was right! It was a very nice addition to the flavors. The pancakes came with bacon and eggs made to your preference. The restaurant is has a unique decorative motif – lots of automotive and aviation memorabilia – pictures and toys. The decorator definitely had a strong preference for Studebakers, so anyone with a passion for Stude’s would get a kick out of this joint. One drawback: they serve«spread» and don’t offer real butter with the pancakes. BOO!

We love to hit this spot on our way out of town. We usually stop here at least once on our visit to Eureka Springs. We usually pick the buffet. The service is alright. I’d give friendly. You can tell most have been there for a long time. I’m not a big buffet kind of gal. Working in the restaurant business for over 10 yrs. I do however do it here. They rotate correctly and its not over stuffed and usually fresh products. Pancakes are good. Biscuits and gravy aren’t bad. This is def just a little dinner with some pretty descent food. Freshness is what makes it pretty good. We will def return to Pancakes!

I wish I had a Harley Davidson this past weekend. A beautiful, chopped hog I could have roared into Pancake’s Family Restaurant on. That’s what I saw a whole lot of when my friend and I pulled in. rows of Hogs and more looking for parking. First off, it’s not a motorcycle bar/eatery but they have a sign posted outside saying ‘Biker Friendly’. Does that mean Lance Armstrong would be greeted warmly? Probably. The staff is nice there. Pancake’s has been around for 30 yrs. or more and the place was packed! The Eureka Springs Blues Festival was happening that weekend which is the reason so many motorcycles were present. A waitress asked if we’d been there before, explained about the buffet and got our drink orders. Well, the buffet is the best bet, especially since we had just spent the night camping/hiking in Lost Valley Ntl. Park and were famished. They have ultra small, super sweet banana muffins, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, bacon, sausage and other morning fare. I think the bacon actually tasted good and the pancakes were passable but, hey, it’s buffet food. I did go back three times before quitting. One thing of interest was my friend who ordered milk. He wanted a re-fill which would have cost him full price… hmm. is that fair? Great automotive signs, pictures, old gas signs and models hanging from the ceiling gives this place a Route 66 feel to it. And breakfast for both of us was under $ 20. So roll on in here whether on a Hog or Hundai if you are in serious need of filling up!
