I’m almost hesitant to write a review here because I feel like The Peabody House is Eureka Springs’ best kept secret– but this place deserves the killer review. My husband and I completely fell in love with this place the moment we walked through the door. We have physically seen all of the rooms, which are all uniquely designed. We chose The Dashwood, as we were completely enamored with it! We stayed in this room the night before our elopement, got ready on the day of our elopement, and shared our wedding night all here in The Dashwood. Faryl, the owner of this establishment is so amazing. Everything you could ever need, you will find in your room. From a Keurig coffee maker, to fresh orange juice and some sort of breakfast pastries each morning. Best part of all, you won’t find everything this place offers anywhere else in Eureka for the price. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend one of the most important weekends of our lives in. We will most definitely be back!

The only drawback to staying at the Peabody House is that you never want to leave your room. However, if you do manage to motivate yourself to go out, historic downtown is only a staircase away. The innkeeper, Faryl, is extremely friendly and helpful. Plus, all of her recommendations were great(although we didn’t get to do all of them)! I stayed in the Dashwood room and it was glorious with great amenities including a comfy king-size bed, whirlpool tub and complimentary sherry. The breakfast isn’t a traditional B&B breakfast, but I prefer muffins and tea anyway, so it definitely wasn’t a deal breaker for me. Words of advice: Heed the warnings on the website about using GPS to find the place, unless you enjoy getting lost on narrow, winding and hilly roads. Also, the cats that hang outside the B&B are shy, but they are not ashamed to stare at you through the door window.
