The ciders are good but the service is unfriendly. They weren’t even busy when we went in and the redheaded bartender ignored us for a good while. When she finally did acknowledge us, she was short and dismissive with us. You guys need better staff if you plan on keeping any customers

I tried a lot last time I was there when we got a taster flight and loved everything. My favorite was the Work Juice as it was easy drinking and had a low alcohol content. Not everyone wants to get smashed when they drink. The location isn’t my favorite, but it works.

Their cider is so tasty and interesting, it’s more like sampling artisan wine; the location is a blast as well. Strongly recommended!

Let me start out by saying, I am not much of a drinker to begin with. I don’t like beer ATALL. But dang… I LOVE Humboldt Cider House’s honey cider! It’s so delicious!(It packs a powerful punch if you’re not used to alcohol, though, not gonna lie! Consider yourself forewarned!) And I always enjoy myself here — the atmosphere is fun and laid-back, and the staff is ultra chill. I love that’s it’s just a little hole-in-the-wall local spot that you’d miss if you didn’t know it was there! I also appreciate that they have virgin cider, meaning I can go at night with friends to unwind with hard cider on a Friday night, or in the afternoon with my kids for something more tame and refreshing. There’s something to accommodate everyone and every situation. In the true Humboldt spirit, everyone is always welcome. Gotta love that!

I am not a cider guy… I am a chopper riding, beer loving biker… well at least I was until my buddy rolled me to this place. Wow. That is pretty much it folks. Best damn cider I have ever had the pleasure of drinking. And their settings and ambience are just spot on. Only open on the weekends which makes this place all the more desirable. Go. Go now.

Such a cool concept. Easily some of the best cider I’ve had. It seems like the menu of ciders changes each time I’m there and it’s only gotten better since opening. I like getting a flight and splitting it with a friend… while I’d love to have them all, it’s just a little too much cider for me. If you just want a pint, ask them what mixes they recommend. Last time they recommended the sour cherry mixed with the honey and it was excellent. They’re still working on the outdoor area, I’m excited to see it finished.

Great local hard cider with a kick back casual tasting room that is kid and dog friendly. Perfect place to stop while out walking, riding, or enjoying activities out in myrtletown area. Always many flavored to chose from and it’s all super delicious !! Highly recommend especially for the out of town guest looking for some local flavor

GREAT selection of ciders for all tastes, including apple juice for the kiddos. Awesome little spot with a bar and additional seating. It’s an open feel, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have gift certs, and merch available… no bottles, but their selection pours from the tap all day long. I hope to see these guys around for a long time to come! I will definitely visit again!

Would have gotten a 5, but children should never outnumber adults at a bar. And they did. I’m not a cider drinker but i got the sampler and their ciders were awesome! Outdoor space could use some work but the availability of sun and booze is much welcomed to our Humboldt options. Really cool design concepts — I look forward to seeing what they continue to do with the place.

One of the best Cideries anywhere. An incredible variety of ciders made from locally sourced apples. Spanning from nice and dry to rather sweet, there is something for most any palate — including apple juice for the non-drinker! We had the tasters and were able to sample 9 different styles, each a winner. These people love their cider and do it so well.

First of all, understand that I’m biased. I’ve been drinking Jamies cider for years now. Just putting it out there. Or you can look at it this way: I know what I’m talking about. I know a thing or two about fermentation and cider. There is my street cred. And this is the best damn cider I’ve ever had. This is a truly unique thing to have in Humboldt. Breweries, wineries… Blah blah blah heck there are more distilleries in Humboldt than cideries. You know how Cypress Grove has this über high status in the goat cheese world? That’s what a gem we have in Humboldt Cider Co. What is also unique is that HCC has a remarkable variety. There are some cider purists who think you should offer a sweet cider and a dry cider and then that’s it. So soak in the options, get a taster flight to start(«first timers should get a beer flight»…yeah that) and then understand you can BLEND. My favorite is 60% honey, 40% cherry.(«Chunny» on Untappd) Get to HCC and enjoy.

We stopped by here eager for their ‘soft opening’. It was phenomenal. Delicious, fresh tasting, crisp, varietals of Humboldt county made cider. The bar is cozy, with quaint drawings/art displayed,. The staff are friendly and also gruff, as bartenders should be. We got flights which were the best, 10 tiny tasters, enough for a couple to split if you still intend on driving home after. The cherry and granny smith ciders were my fave. The pineapple one was delicious too. I only wish they were bottled, or had growlers. But alas, they are a small batch, artisan cider company. That’s the only way to avoid the ‘Humboldt restaurant curse’, keep it small, simple, superlative. They will inevitabily have to expand though, such a cool place can’t stay this small. I would even consider giving to them a kickstarter donation if they do another campaign to open a bigger bar/grill. Quality. All quality.

First timers should get a Beer Flight to sample the selection. The HumCo CiderCo has a very beautiful tasting room with artfully crafted wood furnishing a an even more imaginatively constructed restroom. Try the Honey Cider, it’s slightly sweet, smooth going down with a crisp and refreshing finish. Can’t wait to go again!
