I’ve been going to Dr. Dong since 2000. He now sees my entire family. He is the utmost in professionalism: most important to me is that his utensils are individually packaged — each patient gets a new(sterilized) set of tools; everything is clean. He’s always been on time, reasonably priced(we don’t have insurance) and very trustworthy. Plus, he’s just a nice guy.

Dr Dong is fantastic! I inherited him from my husband, who raved about him(& he is not prone to raving). He is a skilled dentist with a good armchair side manner. He doesn’t try to sell you all the frills and does not go in for expensive, faddish dentistry gadgets. When I asked him about teeth whitening once, he actually talked me out of it, telling me that my teeth are not the kind that show dramatic improvement. But he agreed to whiten my husband’s teeth and they looked great. Dr. Dong does is own cleanings and his filling work is excellent and as close to painfree as possible. He is always willing to schedule emergency appointments and even went into the office one weekend to take care of my mother, who had cracked a tooth while visiting from out of town. In addition, Dr. Dong is interesting to talk with, something you can’tsay about all dentists. There is also lots of easy parking in the lots opposite(adjacent to the library and in the lot kitty corner from Whole Foods).

Dr. Dong is great. He’s a one-man show, with an occasional receptionist. He cleans your teeth(not a hygienist), doesn’t use guilt or pressure for expensive procedures. My mom and honey who hate dentists as a rule both like him, too.
