Sutton Studios

I needed to update my review as when I wrote the first one, I had just had my sitting and had not even seen the proofs. Well, all I can say is WOW! From what I thought was not an ideal sitting, David captured amazing images that truly brought me to tears. I now have my final prints and I get such a wonderful feeling each time I the art David created and they evoke such special memories, I could not be happier. (One of my dogs has passed since the first review and David’s Talent has given me a gift to be able to remember him as the sweet, loving and beautiful dog he was.) David’s Talent and staff are beyond what I ever could have imagined. From start to finish this was much more than I expected.

I wasn’t sure we could bring all of our dogs for our family picture. We have four dogs with very different temperaments and ages… not an easy group. David handled the situation with confidence and humor while keeping the 7 of us on task. I was a bit tense with the dogs, but David was calm and skillful. Amazingly, we came away with some gorgeous pictures that will mark December 2012 in our history in a lovely, sweet way that is unforgettable now.

Happiness is having a photo taken by David Sutton. The first time we went was as family (wife, son, dog) on my 40^th birthday. Our dog began freaking out and things seemed like they were headed south. But David was calm and took control of the situation, making each of us laugh and somehow making my dog cock his head and smile just the way he does at home. The pictures were outstanding and it was difficult to pick just one. We just went back in December of 2010 to have another go at it and once again David managed to capture the essence of our family, nutty dog and all. This time we got a triptych!

We just had a photo shoot over at Sutton Studios yesterday (had seen some of the great work they do from our friends) and I have to say that Dave did a really great job of running the session.
We have two dogs (black lab, yellow lab) and there are three of us. Dave has a very calm way of getting everyone (including the dogs) through the session. Great guy and a real professional.
