Gardo’s Italian Oven

Best pizza I’ve had I a long time love the bacon and cheese and their bread sticks. Their sandwiches are great also. We order out a lot where I work at and its always hot when we get it.

The pizza we had delivered tasted like the dough was pre made or comes pre made to them ! It was not hand tossed or hand made, it tasted like cardboard!, not a happy camper!

Good crust, good taste.
This is a small pizza shop with only three tables, so don’t get your hopes up for a gourmet restaurant. But for what this is, we found the people, service, and food to be excellent.
We ordered one of their best selling pizzas — the Guardian — and at $ 20 one of the most expensive. Like other Unilocal reviewers, we thought the crust was light, crisp, and relatively thin with a good blend of meat and vegetables. While three of us can normally finish a large pizza easily, we actually had some leftover because the crust is a little thicker than thin crust pizzas in our area.
The employees seemed to enjoy each other’s company. We were asked if we wanted the television station changed, or the volume turned up or down. We were offered plates and a leftover box at the appropriate times. The pizza came quickly, without a greasy look or taste.
My wife gave Gardo’s a 4-​star rating due to its small size, but I decided not to hold its size against it. A nice local alternate to large chain pizza.

Fantastic Pizza. Staying in town after a day at a holiday World and craving pizza. Love hometown pizza places and Gardo’s was fantastic. If we are ever in area again we will def be back. Had the BLT pizza, pepperoni pizza and philly cheese steak. All good!

When I’m back in my hometown of Evansville, Gardo’s is always a must! Great, thin (but not too thin) crust pizza. They have an expansive menu offering sandwiches, and several pizza toppings. Specialty pizzas. Yep, Gardo’s has you covered! The cheese bread is actually some of the best I’ve ever consumed.
Friendly owners, and reasonable prices will guarantee a return visit, each time I’m back in Eville!

Good pizza and the BEST meatball sub I have ever had. Great little place; glad to see they’re still doing well since Papa Johns north opened too.

Gardo’s Italian Oven is the best pizza in town. We love the hand made crust and the spicy sauce. Andy Gard always uses fresh veggies to make the pie just the way you like it. The delivery is fast and the pie is always hot. Want more than just pizza… they have a full menu to select from. It does not get much better than that!
